If you read Alice in Wonderland as an allegory of a young woman exploring her sexuality it actually makes more sense then it typically does.

Am I the only one to see this?

There's a fairly vile story written about this, actually. I loved the premise but it's like reading Uncle Tom's Cabin. I couldn't stand the voice of the author. Plus the sex was unsexy.

But anyway! Yes, I completely see what you mean and agree. Alice would make such a pretty sub, too.

No, you are not. If you haven't seen it, you might want to check out the movie Dreamchild, about Alice Hargeaves, which touches on that very issue.

I dunno, since hearing The Jefferson Airplane's song "White Rabbit", I have never been able to look at Alice in Wonderland at all without thinking about drugs!

Ebony <who wish there was a pill to make you small... but leave the tits>

Sex and drugs... Alice in Wonderland may be the most disturbing book in Western History. After the Bible, that is.

of course, why didnt i see it before?! remember her little stuttering husband running around, "yes dear, of course dear", lol that was so obvious that i totally missed it!

...I'm gonna have to go back and read "Alice in Wonderland" again...

Why would this surprise anyone since he had a particular fondness for young girls - and its hotly disputed to this day whether that was a sexual fondness or not? Caroll I mean.
