It’s been rather peaceful the past few days since Laurel moved the political threads {and the alts}

I like it. I had all the wasted spacers on ignore...but too many were quoting them. Why acknowledge them? Re-name the Politics Forum to Those With Small Dicks and Political Forum.

The current "SpeareChucker," whose original moniker here was Andra Jenny. It was easier just to call him AJ for continuity's sake and because his usernames are usually hard to spell.

Me and him actually agreed at the time (I guess it's been about 5 years) that there wasn't a great need for a Politics Board, but it's not really a big deal and I don't make the rules. And to be honest, a lack of politics here might make people more apt to start threads, since they won't have to worry about them getting lost amidst Vette's latest idle thoughts about that Durham guy.

Long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, back when the Cades and Beco ruled the alt roost, I had notions of making a list/Venn diagram of the alts and their root accounts and how they overlapped.

Just a notion. eyer the Flameout and busyshit would've broken the bank on that by now.

And I owe a debt to LT because of one of his alts....this was back when Miles and "Karen Kraft" were posting pictures of my kids here on Lit and making it look like AJ was doing it because of AJ's documented hatred and jealousy of all things Rob ("let's have Rob and AJ fight!")....then Miles screwed the pooch and PMed something he thought was going to Karen but actually was sent to LT's alt. LT immediately shared it with me, and that was the beginning of the end for Miles.

AJ was the first shitposter to get to a quarter million posts under his various IDs...since surpassed by the late unlamented Koalabear and I suspect Queerbait probably has close to a half million shitposts by now under all of his sockpuppet accounts. (OCD is a turrible thing, kids).

Agreed. Byron was a drunk and a waste of oxygen. I find it humorous that AJ invokes Byron's name fairly regularly as some sort of talisman....Byron would have been royally pissed off about that.

And then there's that "circle of life" thing....Byron disowned AJ when he finally came to terms with what an asshole AJ was.....and AJ in turn disowned Que when AJ discovered how mentally ill Que was/is.

Funny how times change. I remember when LT was a "thing". He is just a shell of himself now. The whole WARMACHINE dojo/forum battle that never happened was probably his jumping the shark moment. Dying on the plane after choking on a peanut runs a close second. Oh, and shooting his neighbor's dog gets an honorable mention. Of course, there was also the whole "nature is evil" highlight with yours truly. Then there was the "lets go shoot some ni**ers" battle with Byron. But LT did unwittingly play a big role in outting Karen/Ken and Miles/TalkRadio's posting of your kids pics here.

The drama that used to rule the GeeBee is stuff few new users would believe now. Once it died down, the political threads began to dominate. Hopefully banishing them will help bring in a more rounded crop of n00bs.
