All the henchmen I had had to be sacked. They could only bring them in dead. So, into the sack they went....and then to the river.

I've always preferred military calibers because you can get military surplus ammo cheap in large quantity. You can get many used military rifles pretty cheap, too. And they are almost idiot-proof and built to last. Most have many thousands of rounds of useage left in them.
