"come with me son!"

"Dad its like two in the morning" William fifteenth of his name groaned rubbing the sleep out of his eyes "I have school in-"

"And this is more important" His dad William the Fourteenth of his name snapped "I promise after this you can go back to sleep Will"

Will sighed and nodded the young ten year old following after his dad as they carefully krept down the steps of their brownstone house. Will found the house unnaturally silent just like the outside world. In the city that never slept there was always some thing going on outside a faint melody of cars passerby's and a general dim den of noise. However the night and the house were still as father led son down the steps and into his office.

Will had been in here many times and yet he still wondered at the various artifacts and paintings on the wall. His dad was the head security guard at the museum which sounded like a job that didn't pay well but surprisingly did. It also led to his Dad having been gifted artifacts from the museum. Will quickly went to his favorite one a painting of a group of nights gathered in a circle around a sword. He stroked the painting his mind filled with thoughts of dashing deeds and the adventures of a knight.

"Will" His father said placing a hand on his shoulders "It is time"

"Time for what father?" Will said turning around raising an eyebrow "what did you want to show me?"

"That my son is a long story" William said shaking his head smiling softly "but one I think you will enjoy if you will just move"

Will did as his father asked watching as his dad grabbed the painting and gently lifted it. He moved the picture revealing a etching into the wall behind it. It was a door or at least a drawing of a door. Will was about to ask her father who had written on their wall when his father pulled out a brass doorknob. He placed it in the spot where the door knob would be and turned it. The door clicked and then swung open from the inside revealing a dark space.

"thats thats" Will breathed his mind swimming

"Impossible?" His dad said smirking "I had much the same thought when your grandfather showed me however it doesnt end here come along Will"

Will watched as his dad reached in pulling out a torch and lighting it revealing a pair of stone well worn steps. William took Wills hand and together they stepped through and began their descent down. Will attempted to ask his father the questions swimming in his head however with a wink and that kind old smile Will took great comfort in he was told that "all would be revealed soon".

They reached the end mere moments later the stone steps bottoming out to reveal a large circular room. Wills eyes widened taking it all in as he stepped forward. If his father office held a small collection of artifacts it paled in comparison to what Will would later find out was simply known as the Den. There were artifacts of all shapes and sizes lined up against the walls. Every thing from big ornate mirrors to a giant terracota figure standing proud, next were the weapons every thing from anicent swords and flint lock pistols to modern day guns and weaponry, the space had every thing yet none of it made any sense to Will.

Then he saw the center

Just like in the painting the silver sword sat gleaming softly in the moon light coming in from a small circular hole above. There were no knights kneeling to it yet Will some how KNEW it was the same as the one in the painting.

"Do you remember the story" His father asked placing a hand on his shoulder as they both starred at the sword.

"Of course" Will murmured taking a hesitant step forward "five knights who banded together and with the help of an ancient order forged a weapon of great power and used it to lock away a ancient evil"

"Yes" His father said smiling softly "but at great cost"

"Yes the knights were killed" Will said glancing over at his father "gave there lives to make sure the evil did not harm any one else"

"Aye but there was one survivor" William said surprising Will "not a knight mind you but a squire a young man who was with the knights until the end he and he alone brought the silver sword back as well as the vessel used to contain the great evil the squire pledged that he and his family alone would gaurd the vessel and the order pledged their help with this quest"

"and that squire is our ancestor son"

"And so our family has been protecting the vessel throughout history" William said waving the torch over the pictures hanging on the mental on the far side of the room "your ancestors and forefathers kept their watch and their promise even as the world changed the vessel was protected and in time as ancient times well to man we became the unseen members behind history we along with the order of course"

"I you mean its all true" Will said his eyes widening as he stepped forward to the silver blade.

"that and more" William said smiling softly "for in time as mans reach extended and more lights were cast into shadow we and the order became the protectors of the ancient beast that make up the supernatural world however our promise was never broken the vessel was moved brought to a public place were we could safe guard and watch over it"

"The museum" Will breathed looking at his father "its in the museum!"

"Very good son" William said stepping into the circle and running his fingers over the blade "and like my father and I before it is time for you to begin your training and your apprenticeship our traditions and our promises"

"but first you must be knighted"

..............................................

CURRENT TIME

The blaring of the alarm woke him up

He reached out smacking the button and silencing the infernal thing. He laid in bed for a few minutes soaking up the sounds of traffic outside of the brownstone for a few minutes before pushing himself out of bed. He strode naked out of his bedroom stopping to touch a picture of his mother and his father and saying a quick celtic prayer before going about his day.

First up was his workout which he did down in the den. Sure it looked strange having modern exercise equipment next to ancient artifacts and prisons of power (like the mirror) but he found that it lead to a better work out and focus. He went about his usual routine working out while he repeated the tenants of his code to himself over and over again.

And with his eyes firmly on the silver blade

After he was done he got the coffee going then headed into the shower. He ran the water as hot as he could and soaked in it letting it run down his powerful shoulders back and arms as he closed his eyes. He took his time before he finally stepped out running a hand through his wet sandy brown hair and scratching idly at the five o clock stubble on his face. He dressed down for the day simple jeans a white T shirt and his dads leather jacket. He pulled on his chest holster next sliding the revolver in before turning his body and making sure it was hidden. His brown leather satchel came next swung over and on his back, finally he slid on the throwing days pushing them under his wrist. It was the most he could get away with when it came to being armed these days.

Will took his coffee to go and after saying a quick prayer in hindu to bless and protect the house and making sure the protective charms and spells were still in place stepped out and locked the door. He ignored his motorcycle today favoring a walk to the museum. Even though it was his day off he would have to check the spells and defenses before he went ot report to the order.

But it wouldn't stop him from enjoying his day off

He slid in his headphones and let the Japanese translator play as he got swept up in the crowds. He enjoyed his coffee as he made his way through the streets of New York City and reached the museum. He flashed his security badge and was waved through and into the main museum. He lingered for a minute basking in the history and the world that surrounded him before he began to make his way to the vessel.

"Come on, Kaz!"

Two young women - one a round blonde and the other half-Japanese and slight - were walking through the museum. The blonde was tugging on her friend's hand, trying to encourage her to follow.

Kazumi - though her name was often shortened to Kaz by friends - was hesitant. "But, Anna, I don't think this area of the museum is open the public..."

Anna, the blonde, scoffed, grinning. "Oh come on, the exhibit is opening tomorrow. My grandfather used to work here. He said they do private tours of new exhibits for donors before they open. I'll bet it's done, and they're just doing the tours. We'll just pretend we're donors. It's fine."

Kazumi looked dubious, and she ran her fingers through her hair, looking up at the sign above the door. Medieval Occult Artifacts. It was such an interesting topic, and it was only going to be open for a short while. She wasn't sure if she'd be able to get back to the museum in time to see it if she didn't go now. "Oh... Okay fine. Let's do it!" She giggled and the pair glanced down the hall to make sure no one was watching, then sneaked through the door.

Both Kazumi and Anna were university students. Both of them were in different programs - Kazumi was taking chemical engineering while Anna was in business - but they both shared a love of history. Both of them often lamented the fact that they couldn't just major in history, but there were too few jobs in the field, so they simply took a minor in it and did as many elective courses as they could. And they came to the museum whenever they had the chance.

"Look look! The Malleus Maleficarum!" Anna called her friend over, and the two of them peered through the glass at a huge old tome full of occult writing and demonic symbols.

"Hard to imagine how such a book could be used to justify so much death," Kazumi whispered, eyes wide. "So many women, accused of witchcraft..." She was going to continue, but the girls heard voices from around the corner and froze. Despite what Anna had said, they still weren't really supposed to be in here, and they both knew it.

"Hide!" Anna whispered, and they hurried to press themselves against the wall between two displays, hoping they wouldn't be noticed.

"Damn," came one of the voices - male, sounding bored. "I don't really get why the museum keeps this thing on display. It's so... plain."

The other, a little older and gruffer, laughed. "I dunno, man. It's not our job to ask. C'mere, help me with this light."

Anna held a finger to her lips and peered around the corner, with Kazumi huddling behind her and watching over her shoulder.

There were two men standing next to a large display, showing one of the few pieces in this exhibit that was a permanent part of the museum. Kazumi had seen it multiple times before - it was a large granite cube, covered in tiny writing and symbols, carved over every inch of its surface. It was charred in a few places, and the granite was marbled with obsidian, making it as much a geological marvel as a historical one. No one had been able to figure out where the stone was mined, because granite and obsidian shouldn't be able to marble like that. It was one of several mysteries about the object. One of the others was a huge metal disk that was affixed to the top of the box. It, too, was carved with symbols. The people who studied it had yet to determine what exactly the metal was. It looked like it might have been bronze, but it reacted very strangely to tests. The museum believed it was some kind of alloy that was discovered hundreds of years ago, and the identity of which had been long lost to time.

"Damn electrical system," grumbled one of the men, holding a large light fixture in his arms. The other man was climbing a ladder, presumably to use the fixture to replace one that appeared to be broken. "This room is always burning out bulbs."

The man on the ladder chuckled. "Yeah. If I didn't know any better, it might actually make me believe that stupid box is cursed."

"Ha. Yeah. Cursed. Maybe, huh?"

"Yeah. Hey, hand me the... SHIT!" The man on the ladder had reached down to take the fixture from his companion, but when he did, the fixture on the ceiling abruptly snapped, and a huge piece of it fell. It hit the man on the ladder, knocking him off, and then bounced off the ladder to smash against the top of the artifact.

Several things happened all at once. There was an explosion of some sort - a shockwave went out from the box, throwing the two men and their ladder across the room. Anna screamed.

And Kazumi passed out.

--------

Kazumi... I can see into your heart. I know what you desire.

Darkness. Kazumi didn't know where she was. Everything around her was black, but she knew there was something lurking in the darkness, waiting for her. "Wh-who's there?"

A figure stepped out of the darkness. It looked, for a moment, like Kazumi herself - long dark hair, wide almond eyes, soft pink lips, and a petite frame along with generous hips and breasts. But a closer look gave way to subtle differences - her eyes, from the whites to the pupils, were dark, reflectionless and black, and she bore sharp fanged teeth. "I have been called many things over the centuries," answered the not-Kazumi. "But you may call me Malphas."

Kazumi looked around, uncertain and afraid. "Is... is this a dream?"

Malphas shrugged. "That is as good an explanation as any."

"What do you want?" Kazumi asked, eyes wide.

"To give you whatever you desire. You want knowledge? Power? Fame? Men? Money? I can give you anything."

"What do you want in exchange?" Kazumi wasn't a woman who believed in demons, but still, she knew better than to accept an offer like that from a creature in her dreams. There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamed of in your philosophies. She did not believe in demons, but neither was she stupid enough to deny what was so obviously before her.

Malphas smiled. "All I require is that you simply accept me. I am already within you, Kazumi. There is little difference between what you are now and what I so humbly request."

"No." She would stand certain in this. Whatever this thing was, it was not good. And she did not want to give it anything it asked for.

Malphas just shrugged. "It is a matter of time before you give in. Simply understand that the sooner you accept me, the less painful this will be."

He was making his way to the artifact when he felt it

Years of studying magic and his own blood line had given him an accute sixth sense to disturbances. It wasnt as spot on as the mages of the order or some of his more... supernaturally charged friends but he felt it all the same. The air suddenly snapped as if it had been burnt and the hairs on the back of his neck rose. Will swore moving up the steps faster checking to make sure the coast was clear before pulling out his gun. He moved down the hall his steel toed boots squeaking slightly as he went to the room the box was in.

"Shit" He said his eyes widening as he took in the scene before him. He swore again in spanish and ran forward taking in the damage to the box. It was cracked and he could practically see the evil leaking out of it.

He had to work fast

He ran forward ignoring the girls for now and the men. He placed his gun down moving his satchel and rooting inside. He grabbed the potion bottle always mixed every night as his just in case emergency. He poured the red out on the crack chanting in latin as he did. To the outside eye it didn't look like he was doing any thing yet Will could feel the magical malevolent force sinking back in.

He sighed before turning his eyes to the pretty girl who had fallen next to it. He ran his eyes over her for a second noting nothing was wrong with her physically. He kneeled down sliding on a ancient looking ring and glancing over at the other girl.

"Go check on them please" He said nodding at the men who were thrown back "I need to attend to your friend here"

He closed his eyes begining to mutter a long chant in celtic. His ring began to glow almost red hot as he placed it on her forehead palm out. His eyes narrowed sensing the evil being lurking inside. He had been to late the evil contained had gotten a foot hold even if most of its powers were contained it was rooted inside of her and even though he tried to remove it from her soul it refused to budge.

"Shit" he said opening his eyes and removing his hand "miss I need you to wake up" He said gently shaking her shoulder.

One moment, Kazumi was fine - well, not fine, she was talking to something evil in her mind, but she was as well as could be expected, given the situation - and the next, she was in excruciating pain. Malphas began to scream in Latin, and Kazumi felt like she was burning.

Then, abruptly, her eyes snapped open and she gasped, her whole body trembling. She was looking up into the eyes of a man - his face was handsome, and kind, and she felt this inexplicable sensation that he was safe.

"S-something bad happened to me," she whispered, her voice weak and thready. She grasped at his sleeve, somehow afraid that he would leave. "Can you help me? Please?"

Wills eyes softened and he gently touched her forehead before picking her up bridal style

"I can help you with that" He said nodding his head at her "Its okay I know what happened please just pretend to be fine and I will explain every thing after we are done with the paramedics"

Sure enough they had rushed in along with the museum guards and the director currently on the job. Thankfully Will knew all of them and the director was a member of the order itself. He saw the mans fearful eyes questioning gaze and Will took him aside to explain the situation.

He reacted about as good as you would expect

"Come on" Will said having been waved off by the director and pocketing his gun. He placed his hand on the small of her back leading her away from the scene beginning to form and towards the side hall.

Kazumi stuck close to Will as much as possible. Everything seemed terrifying - 5 minutes ago, she thought she knew how the world worked, but now there was some... thing in her head, and everything she thought she knew about monsters being mythical was wrong. It was real, and she didn't know what else might be dangerous.

All she knew was that Will was safe.

A few other men came rushing in, and she realized to her surprise that her instincts went off about one of the other men, too - this one a little older, and someone it seemed Will trusted, because they spoke in whispers about her as soon as he arrived. That man, she felt, was safe, too. But why?

While they spoke, Kazumi closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, trying to figure out why she was feeling the way she was.

She could fell Malphas. She could feel the presence, dripping in evil, in her mind, swirling around like a shark at the edges of her thoughts, waiting for a weakness to exploit and so it could force its way in. And, she realized, Will pushed it away. Malphas felt further, weaker, less able to take advantage of her. The closer she was to him, the stronger she felt - the more able to fight Malphas.

The other man - the director of the museum - made her feel that way, too. It wasn't quite as strong, perhaps because he wasn't the one who found her and drove Malphas from her conscious mind in the first place, but it was still there.

She smiled when Will returned to her side to lead her out, and leaned willingly towards him as they walked, craving that feeling of safety and security he gave her. Once they were outside, she looked up at him. "I don't, um, I don't think I know who you are." Her voice was still shaking and a little weak from fear, but it was stronger than it was. "I'm Kazumi. Kazumi Soto."

"Will well William" He said helping her outside and down the steps "My last name is Greensfield" He told her eyes scanning intently. Magical energies like the one detonated usually acted like a open flame to certain magical creatures and while his first priority was to get her to the order he also wanted to make sure....

There!

"I need you to stay close to me" Will told her watching the weird man in a hoodie tucked away in the shadow of an alleyway "I am going to get you to safety a group of friends of mine however it isnt going to be easy do what I say and keep watch at all times" he said threading his fingers in with her and gently tugging her towards the side walk.

"what is the name of the evil inside of your head" Will asked her leading her down the street.

Staying close to him? That wasn't going to be a problem. She did notice, however, the nervousness in his voice and behaviour, and she glanced around. Something was wrong, wasn't it?

Kazumi stepped closer to him, gripping his hand tight.

"I... um, it's Ma..." She paused. Even just saying the name seemed to cause the evil inside her head to rear up, as if saying it aloud gave it power. She choked, then took a deep breath. "M-malphas," she said finally, wincing as pain lanced through her head at the name. "Please don't make me say it again..." she begged softly, lifting her free hand to rub at her forehead.

"thats okay names give power over both the person and the speaker" Will explained leading her down the street. He pulled her suddenly into an alleyway he stood in front of her so close their lips were almost touching as he gently touched her face.

"Focus on me and only me" He said as his hands reached into his satchel and pulled out a jar or red paste "tell me about your self" he said pushing the paste against his thumb and reaching up to her forehead.

Kazumi swallowed a yelp of surprise when Will tugged her suddenly into the alley.

"Oh!" And she blushed at how close he was suddenly to her once they were there. It took her a moment to make her brain work properly, given how close he was to her. Oh, she felt like drowning in his eyes...

"Ahem, uh, I, uh... I'm a student. At the university," she began, struggling to make her tongue work properly. She seemed to regain her sense after a moment, and her voice strengthened. "I'm studying chemical engineering, but I love history, so I'm taking a minor in that. My father is from Japan, he moved here for school and met my mom there. I can speak Japanese pretty passably, though I can't read or write it. I, um... I like reading. Fantasy novels, mostly." She tore her gaze from his, uncertain of what was happening. "Is that... what you wanted to know?"

"your doing great" Will said his lips inches from her as he finished drawing whatever it was on her forehead.

"Now this is going to tingle whatever you feel just continue looking at me and talking dont be afraid let it all out" Will said pulling the ring back on and reaching up to place his palm on her forehead.

Will began chanting in latin. The past on her head began to tingle and grow warm as if it was melting on her forehead. He chanted the spells for concealing some one from hunters working a temporary spell on her like the ones tattooed on his body. It would work for now hiding her from the monsters who could track her by the magic in her body and serve to mute the voice inside of her head for a few hours.

"how do you feel?" He asked stepping back once he was done

The moment Will started chanting, Kazumi's breath began to shudder. Her spine straightened and she was having difficulty breathing, but it passed after a moment, and then... peace.

Her eyes slipped closed and she sighed, sagging a little.

"I... I feel good. Like the presence in my mind is gone. Well, not gone, but far away. Deep, and hidden, and weak. And I feel safe." She opened her eyes again, looking straight into his. "You make me feel safe. Why? Who are you?"

"Its a long story and one that would be better explained in safety" Will said giving her a small smile "If you trust me its just a bit longer and we will be with my people who will help me to explain every thing just trust me now in saying I am a friend and honor bound to help protect you and keep the evil inside of you at bay"

"If we can please continue moving my lady" He said offering out his hand "its a few more blocks" he explained taking her hand and pulling her back into the streets so they were on their way. He moved quickly but not in a rush and his eyes scanned every where looking for some unseen danger.

Kazumi smiled, satisfied with the idea that she'd be getting her answers soon, and took his offered hand.

As they walked, she squeezed his hand and leaned towards him, catching his attention. "Thank you. For helping me, I mean. I fear I'd be lost if you hadn't."

After that, she was quiet, happy to simply wait until they were safe and secure before continuing their conversations or asking anymore questions.

He glanced over at her a small kind smile on his face

"I would have no matter why my lady" He said smiling at her "your the definition of the wrong place at the right time" he told her his eyes a light with humor and kindness. He led her down a few more blocks until they finally reached a rather unassuming church tucked away between some buildings. Will led her in closing the door behind him and directing her to sit at one of the pews.

"I will be a moment" he said going over to the confessional and stepping in. He waited for a few minutes before the other door opened and the priest came in.

"There is no time" Will said watching as he began to open his mouth "Father it has happened"

"Are you sure Protector Will it could be-"

"There was a leak Bishop Timothy will be calling any second" Will explained "it was contained but one Malphas was able to tether her self to the girl she is contained and faint but I was unable to pull her out"

"Very well bring her back I will go warn the others" The father said disappearing back through the wooden door. Will stepped out coming over to her and once more taking her hand.

"It will be a moment" Will said sitting next to her "I am sure you have questions many of them I will answer as best I can as we wait"

Kazumi grew restless, even just from being apart from Will for the minute or so he was in the confessional. Once he returned, however, she relaxed at the way his presence pushed Malphas away, and she smiled.

"I do, I have so many questions." She scratched the back of her neck, chuckling. "It's hard to pick just one... But I suppose, to begin, what exactly is Mal-" She cut herself off, shuddering as the half-name already caused the thing in her head to come roaring to life, battering against her mind and demanding to be let him. "I-I mean, what is it? A... a demon or something? How did it get into my head? And if demons are real..." She looked up at him, eyes wide. "What else is real? What other myths really exist that we don't know about?!"

"The creature in your head is not a demon per say" Will explained smiling softly at her onslaught of questions "consider it more like a primordial force some thing that existed long before us humans ever walked the earth it filtered in and out of reality along with its brothers and sister it has taken many names and form in folklore the one you can not say however is it true name which is why it holds power"

"A long time ago a group of very brave men banded together to put a stop to the evil once and for all they along with an ancient order who had devoted it self to riding what they considered to be unholy creatures formed a pact and working together there was a great battle that finally closed the gate to our world" Will explained noting the priest coming back with two others.

"But there had to be a gate and there had to be a door so that way it could be locked that is what was cracked today for years upon years the spirits have sought to break it open and like any door it has become weaker however since it has been kept and preserved on the other side it hasnt broken until today when it was cracked" He explained to her getting up and offering her his hand.

"It is time" He said "do not worry no one is going to hurt you that much I promise you"

Kazumi tilted her head, trying to take in everything Will was telling her. It was difficult to comprehend. The words were easy, but what it meant for her, for the world and everyone in it... that was hard to understand.

"So... you're part of this group of people who contains the evil?" she asked softly. "You and... and the man from the museum? I could feel it. Both of you seemed to keep the thing in my head weak. Though, you most of all." She blushed. "Why? Is it because you were the one who found me?"

She took his hand when he offered it, squeezing nervously, and followed. Whatever was in store for her here, it was less scary than the prospect of having to go out into the world alone to deal with this thing in her head by herself. He promised they wouldn't hurt her. She smiled. "I know." And followed him.

He chuckled at her onslaught of questions waving away the priest as he started to answer "The reason why I can keep it at bay is because im the current protector its both in my blood and training the evil in your head recognizes my blood line and the numerous spells placed on my body" He explained leading her behind the altar and down a flight of stone steps.

"the men here are the same each other them have had families that for generations have helped keep this evil at bay as I said there is power in bloodlines and in old traditions this way please" Will said helping her down the steps. They reached the basement which was busy being attended to by the full force of the organizations current members. They were running around grabbing supplies and grabbing ancient tomes.

"Dont mind them" Will said before she could freak out "they have been running drills about this but have not ever done it before so there a little excited" he said leading her over to the side away from all the work.

Kazumi watched, wide-eyed, as all the people rushed around trying to prepare for... well, what, exactly? Kazumi had no idea what the larger impact would be for what had happened to her.

She stayed close to Will, uncertain and trying to remain out of the way. After a moment, she looked up at him. "What now? What are you going to do to me?" She wasn't afraid - just curious.

Will turned to her at her question worry causing his eyebrows to furrow

"We are going to try and force the spirit inside of you back into a vessel me I will then contain it now that a piece of the creature is out we can not put it back in the box not without opening it and possible releasing more of it into the world and since that vessel was create specifcally to trap and keep the beast in..... Our only hope is to contain it inside some one since you are innocent in all of this we have designated some one in the order ME to keep it contained"

"Which I am more than happy to do" He said taking her hand and giving it a soft squeeze "Truly I am I have trained for this scenario you dont have to worry" He said letting go and walking over to the priest in charge. They conversed for a few seconds before Will nodded at her to come over.

"This is Arch Bishop Clegane" Will said as the man nodded at her "were ready whenever you are simply lie down on the cart in the middle of the circle" he said pointing.

Kazumi listened, horror growing on her expression, as Will explained what would happen.

She felt like she was rooted to the spot, uncertain of what would happen. All she could do was stare at him, her mind running wild with all manner of horrible things that might happen to him once this was over.

It wasn't until Bishop Clegane approached and spoke that she managed to respond. Instead of approaching the circle, she jumped away from it. "No!" She held her hands up in front of her, clearly upset. "No, no, I can't do that! This thing, inside me, it's horrible. I can feel it all the time, and it's always trying to work its way into my mind... I can't give this to someone else! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! I won't let someone else suffer for me!"

"Calm your self Kazumi" Will said shaking his head and ignoring Bishop Clegane's fretful looks "I have been training for this all my life just in case I can resist her put her in a box in my mind that she would never be able to get out of you must trust me on this" He said nodding at the Bishop to come over and place a hand on her shoulder gently.

"It is true my daughter" The Bishop said "we here are trained in this you would be protecting the world and letting us all keep our honor that our ancient blood lines demand please trust us it will be of no harm to you nor will it be to William"

She took a deep breath as the bishop explained, and though she was clearly still uncertain, she was at least evidently much calmer. She looked up at Will.

"Are you sure it isn't going to harm you?" She didn't seem to quite believe that he'd be able to hide it away completely and it wouldn't hurt him at all. "I... I don't want to do something if it's going to cause you pain. I can be strong, and I can carry this."

"She wont hurt me" Will said shaking his head "she isnt even hurting you is she? Just trying to exert control she will attempt the same with me however i will be locking her away using some techniques we have developed over the years"

"He will be in the best of hands child" The Bishop said placing his hand on her shoulder "this much I promise you however the longer we wait the tighter hold she will have in you time is of the essence please"
