All these worthies biting their nails and losing sleep over the life-or-death matter of, if you please, whether their submissions to Literotica are considered for 'publication'.

Funny, that well-known phrase or saying is just what comes to mind when, all over the internet, I see so many "worthies" taking the time to say "Why don't you only care about what I care about?!"All these worthies biting their nails and losing sleep over the life-or-death matter of, if you please, whether their submissions to Literotica are considered for 'publication'.

I was not running down the thread. It is entertaining. Some of the ideas have merit, and if I were the queen of Lit, I'd seriously consider them. Additionally, I would like the discussion to continue.
Agreed. Among those 175, there's no way to know which were published basically o full-auto in under 24 hours, and which actually were reviewed further and took 2 to 5 days.you don't know they're "privileged"
15 days is a cutoff spelled out by @Literotica. Again, they didn't say what to do after 15 days, but they did say what not to do before 15 days (anything which would risk a re-queue) and they didn't say not to re-queue after 15 days when they absolutely could have.First, there is not a reliable way to tell. The 15 day mark is simply the tipping point where the odds of a bug are so much greater than it being human delay that resubmitting is the logical choice.
Second, it depends on where the bug is. Yes, at worst, this will just show that the bug occurs after the automated review process completes successfully rather than giving writers any useful information. However, if the bug is in or before the automated review process and results in the story not being flagged for manual review (which seems to be the most logical explanation), this would give writers useful information.
I'd totally vote for you to be Queen of Literotica. I feel you'd be a wise and benevolent ruler.
Wait, you don't vote for queens. Well, if there was a process where you voted for royalty which would then undermine the entire monarchy system, I'd still do it anyway, all those other kings and queens be damned.
Yes, because I'm a loony toon, and what I'd do would be, at best, unpredictable. At worst, well, it's too frightening to consider.
Very good point and, unfortunately, many of those who are motivated to do the awful things on Roblox are motivated *because* it's a child population they can surprise with adult content. *shudders*The difference is that this isn't Roblox with a large child population, where troll interactions are immediate and seen by many. The context is very different here.

2. Many veterans say that they believe Laurel and Manu browse the forum occasionally. So who knows, maybe they'll see how many people are frustrated and do something about it. Even a tiny bit of extra information would help.
@AwkwardMD already has that drinking game covered.Wait, I've got an idea!! We make a drinking game where for every new story someone posts is pending over a week, you take a drink. Over a month is a shot. For every post about Laurel not responding, I dunno, hit a bong or something.
Hi I'm new. These are pictures of me.@AwkwardMD already has that drinking game covered.
There's a bunch of topics that go through the place on regular cycles, and on occasion a new one rises to the top. At the moment, it's pending stories, a while back it was AI story rejections. The old faithful is the underage rule (will my story breach it?), the non-con content debate, and one or two others. After a while there's a calming predictability about it all, like tides on the beach.
So just like writing, the trick is to get plot bunnies not just for new story topics, but new forum ones as well...Hi I'm new. These are pictures of me.
I'm a male author. How do I write women?
My story went from 5 stars to 4.2. Why is this happening?

Yes - thanks for filling in my laziness. I couldn't be bothered thinking of the whole list.Hi I'm new. These are pictures of me.

Can I finish/rewrite another author's story? I asked them and they didn't reply, that means yes, right?Hi I'm new. These are pictures of me.
