The Problem With Lit Is ...

I've been coming here for just about 9 yrs now and I have never EVER had this many problems with Lit than I do right now!

~ Pages take minutes to load
~ Pages do not load
~ Pages do not load all the way
~ Lit timing out

I used to think that it was just me on my desktop but it's my laptop too. There is no way in hell that both of my computers are jacked, when other sites load instantly and such ....

Tell Laural and Manu what YOUR problem is and maybe we can get this fixed!!

Probably your modem. I'm on a MacBook Pro using wireless from my modem and it's as fast as it is when plugged in. No problems at all.

That said, tonight it has been behaving itself for me, occasional Lit-lag aside

The UK thread has a weird glitch every time it goes on to a new page, I reckon that might just be the size of the thread though

Its not just you. I had this problem using an ATT modem in FL and now I am in NYC and I am using verizon fios. The problem is that its Lit, there are 900 users on at once with 500 of them lurking guest, not mentioning many people using anonymous hosting site. All of these people on a site not meant to hold that many people plus the hotlinking can be taxing on a server. They may need to purchase a larger server or make site changes meant to accommodate all of these people.

I also send and receive PM's with missing messages. There isn't one day that goes by where it doesnt lag.

I'm having the same problem. Lit is running so slow. Some threads take me 10 minutes to open (Not exaggerating)

Lit lag is lame. Tried it on IE... lagged, Tried it on Chrome Better still lags... I think it is like lits lil way of making me cool down

Just got this trying to go to the Hottest Asian thread. You have to refresh and then its gone but its been happening more often.

I only have two problems with Lit and the admins can't do anything about either of them.

1 My blackberry keeps seizing up as I scroll thru threads.
2 The posters writing my favorite SRP are not posting nearly fast enough.
Maybe I'll check out that UK thread while I wait.

Yeah my PDA wouldnt even get me to the USER CP it just keeps loading and then asks for my screenname and password again.
