A woman who signed up to one of the world's most controversial online dating agencies has revealed how it helped her find a sugar daddy - and now says she has given up her nursing dreams to become a full-time 'sugar babe'.
Josie Dewing, 21, from Kent, turned down a place at university studying paediatric nursing after becoming a member of SeekingArrangement.com and discovering she could earn much more pursuing a so-called sugar babe lifestyle.
Previously catering predominantly for a U.S. audience, the site, which offers young women – many of them students struggling with big debts – the opportunity to 'hook up' with richer older men, has recently come to the UK.
Dubbing the financially challenged girls the 'sugar babes', the site claims the girls can earn as much as £15,000 a month for their relationships with older 'sugar daddies.'
Thousands of girls have signed up to the site in the UK in the last year alone – and such is its success that the site plans to raise its profile yet further with a launch party to be held in London next month.
For her part, Josie is currently in what SeekingArrangement calls a 'mutually beneficial relationship' with a richer older man she she says she fell in love with after meeting him on the site.
She has travelled extensively, and has her bills and expenses paid by her lover.
In return, she offers the men the kind of relationship a loyal girlfriend would, meaning that if the two click, would be sexual. If they don't, Josie keeps it non-sexual.
Josie told Mail Online: 'I have had the best experience imaginable on the site.
'I have travelled all over the world – to Miami, Dubai, South Africa and Dublin. I have seen the world and met some of the most amazing men.'

Josie has been dating her current boyfriend, a businessman in his 40s, for the last six months and has so far reaped the financial rewards.
Benefits so far include a luxury £800-a-month flat in Kent; the payment of her £500-a-month beauty bills including hair extensions, nails and facials; a £3,200 boob job to take her from 34DD to 34F; a £4,500 Renault Megan convertible; all her household bills paid at £500 a month; regular gifts including expensive Gucci clothes, Louis Vuitton bags and Kurt Geiger shoes costing around £2,000 a month.
Josie said: 'Some people may think it is seedy but that has not been my experience at all.
'It is just like a dating site to me – if you click with someone you start dating and there are obviously financial benefits from dating richer older men.
'I genuinely haven’t had any negative experiences and it is not like I have had sex with all the men I have dated.
'I once went to Miami for four days. I was chauffeur-driven to my hotel and had all my expenses paid. I had great time with my sugar daddy who was a businessman in his 40s.
'We didn’t click sexually so absolutely nothing happened. I don’t sleep with any men that I am not attracted to.'
