I suppose I should just say thank you for the compliment!!! A collection, as I define it, is having or otherwise possesing something in number. I play many roles in many ways...one need not limit one's self to just one forum!!! Again, thanks!!

We all post porn photos, but if anyone asks me, and you're not, I don't support your devoting an entire thread to showing off what appears to be just the beginning of your thousands of images. Not just because it's silly, I mean, there are millions of naked people on the net we can all see already (how about just a "Best of"?), but because Laurel JUST posted a thread asking people to not post copyrighted images because of a letter she got from a lawyer. Posting so many photos you don't have the right to might not be such a good thing to do with now.

Unless, and I hadn't thought of this, the "linking" your doing isn't the same thing as "posting". Hmm. What's the legal deal here?

All photos I have were obtained from the public domain and are free of copyright. There are several other threads that are devoted to doing precisely what I am doing. However, I started my own so as to avoid flooding someone else's. Yes, I read Laurel's statement and I completely support it and agree with it. I have long done what I am doing here on MSN and Yahoo and they have very strict copyright requirements. I have been assured by them that these pics are fine. I am sure that they are fine here as well. I never place photos that have a copyright mark upon them or have a photographer's name or imprimatur upon them. I also avoid posting any that have a "www" advert or address attached thereto.

Of course I can not put up every one I have!!! Just a sample. Many are too large for this format anyway. I rather get the impression that you don't like my idea?? Someone else actually suggested this to me. They thought I should have my own thread. I had been (and still am) on others....Just spreading out a bit. To be sure, there really isn't totally free copyright posting, just like there isn't totally free VCR taping!!! All of the legalities have yet to be addressed in these matters.

As I am new here, I may have imported nomenclature from other sites. I certainly would never be impertinant enough to stage a coup on Laurel's site. I collected the pics from the internet, hence my word choice. I called it a gallery, as a gallery is often used to describe collections of images (and I thought it was clever) and I said join when I really meant subscribe to the thread rather than just popping in. You seem rather concerned about semantics. I never meant to step on any toes, certainly not at this fine site, which I have come to adore. I thought I had something to contribute. I have also included useful advice to others in other threads and made some friends. My reception here has, on the whole, been quite warm and hospitable. I suppose it can not be so in every case. I appreciate your imput, though, very much indeed.

If you are so bothered, why haven't you addressed those in PolythenePam's Eye Candy thread?
While you may feel it is silly to post hottie pics, apparently the millions of viewers in cyberspace disagree. And, it isn't just about viewing the pics, we have fun in that thread, just playing and chatting back and forth with eachother, much like many of the other threads here.
Granted, it would be better placed in the pics forum, but few of these pics are amateurs....

Thank you very much for these words intrigued!!! I was beginning to feel that the whole world had turned against me LOL. I suppose I had just become so accustomed to warm receptions here that I was somewhat stunned by being dealt with in a less than warm way.

However, like you said, all of us have a right to post here at Lit and that right I wholly and completely respect.

Even if I decided to post 15000 pics, I for the life of me can not figure why that would be problematic. As I explained, many of the pics are too large for Lit's size requirements and resizing frequently causes the quality to diminish...which I hate. I have actually had several people request that I directly email them pics that won't work here. I only want to have fun and spread good cheer and be a good Lit neighbor!!

Someone in another thread just yesterday profusely thanked me for posting a few pics. They said I had brightened an otherwise drab day. That made me feel good!!

I have examined the general board closely. There are several pic threads here. I have been in them . I have also been in threads and discussed everything from the Zimbabwe situation to mutual masturbation to the Afghan War.
