"Killed" me - not in a good way.
The time that my then fiancee and I had the house to ourselves as my parents were away. We were in the bedroom, ready to consummate our engagement when she said:
"I prayed to Jesus and He told me that it's not right."
That was the hard stop on my plans for the weekend. She also decided that you future plans weren't 'right either. Actually, maybe Jesus was on to something there. Thankfully, I moved on to pursue my first love. We've been married 45 years.

I would be 14 / 15 at a friend of my brother's birthday party whose parents had a large old juke box in their 'games room', which I and a friend had stationed ourselves in front of.
After 20 minutes or so my friend noticed that a couple of 'older boys', probably 17 or 18, were looking at us who, she said, were obviously 'weighing up' whether to come over. I purposefully looked over her shoulder, away from them, so we could pretend not to have noticed and retain our cool, then she whispered -
"They're coming over. God they really are..."
Sure enough when I turned round one was stood directly in front of me, just a couple of steps away and, as my stomach did somersaults, I waited for his 'opening line'. It was quite short.
"Shift".
Yup.
They just wanted to play some music on the jukebox.
