Flowers where placed on the ground.
A stone to mark your rest.
All who loved you came to say good bye.

Goodbye is not that easy.
You ment the world to me.
I lived through your smile.

Now that smile is gone.
I am left with nothing.
Only memories.

Memories of your laugh.
Memories of the touch of your hand.
Memories of your hot breath on my neck.

I remember the last time I saw you.
You where wearing that faded hat.
And those torn jeans.

But all of that is gone now.
And all I have is memories.
Memories of you.

Thank you, both of you...

It wasn't really baised off of anything that actually happened to me..

I was reading a local news paper, and there was a story about a boy that I graduated high school with. He was stabbed to death around the corner from his house. Things like that happen all the time in this neighborhood... But it never strikes so close untill it's someone you knew...

i wasnt sure if it was based on something that happened to you or not ... but i could tell you were sad

We allways think " Stuff like that happens to someone else" allways forgetting that to other people we are someone else.

Very true... Our entire graduating class turned up for the funeral... he was killed 3 days after graduation. It's the third year in a row that at least one graduate from my school had been killed within a week of graduation. It's getting to be a very bad habbit in this town...
