The Pacific Northwest

I was reading some more on it, and evidently they are in the Bend area, but not any other place in the willamette valley, which would explain why I haven't seen them. They aren't, however, in the portland/gresham/boring/sandy area.

I don't know about that far up, but I know they are from Corvallis down and past Oakridge. If I remember right, my brother and sister-in-law were even warned the first time they took the kids up to Crater Lake. Right after they were warned about the bears.

I don't think Crater Lake is the Willamette valley. it's pretty close to the California border. Whenever we go there, my California family meet us there.

If you need to worry about anything at crate rlake it's those darn MIDGES. Damn annoying.

Little rope and a closet would take care of the problem...

Or were you talking about the kids?
:D

LOL

No, they're these annoying little bugs that ALL hatch, mate, and die in about a two week span. We went down to Klamath falls, and had to stop TWICE to wash the windshield, because so many had died on our windshield that we couldn't see out of it. (I know, ew.) When we got to the hotel their were so many that you couldn't see the walls, and you had to be careful to walk with your mouth closed. We spent the whole week down there cleaning them up, since they only live like 24 hours.

Sorry, for some reason midgets are now permanently linked to you in my brain. So much so that I put a T where there wasn't one.
