The Other Side (closed for Mav Unlimited)

Nick smiled as Jamie agreed to take him up on his offer. He looked around the street and at the town houses as the car pulled into the empty parking space that Jamie directed him towards.

"Like I said, Jamie. I would be glad to help out."

Nick felt a surge of excitement as Jamie leaned towards the left, closer to him, his heart racing faster now. When the young man hugged him, his own arm automatically extended and grabbed Jamie into a gentle embrace with a surprised smile on his face that his daughter's boyfriend could not see. But it was not necessary. He felt it. He would surely feel Nick's strong arm around him, his palm flat, sliding against his back.

He felt the goose bumps as Jamie whispered in his ear, his warm breath against the skin. He inhaled Jamie's scent as the blonde hair brushed against his face.

"You are..."

Nick could now feel a slight throbbing in his jeans as Jamie's grip on him lessened, causing his palm to slide down the young man's spine and linger against the small of his back.

"...welcome."

Their eyes met like they never had previously. He could see the pretty face in the glow of the light shining through the windshield. Nick swallowed. His heart now beating faster than ever. He felt as if his throat was going to dry up as he moistened his lips using his tongue. He needed to get out of here. Fast. Before he did something stupid.

What the fuck was this? Get out of there, Nick. Get out as fast as you can. You came here to drop the boy home. Your job is done. Leave. Now.

Jamie was looking for something in Nick's eyes. The gaze was intentional. With a purpose. Nick could see clearly. His own reflection now as they continued to stare deeply at each other for what seemed like eternity. Their hearts racing, cocks throbbing, beads of sweat forming over their foreheads. The heat between the two was unmistakable. It was the same electricity he had felt when they had first shaken hands. When they had first looked into one another's eyes. When they had first...touched. The only question that remained now was, what next?

Nick's lips curved slightly as he smiled into Jamie's beautiful blue eyes with a sharp intake of breath and attempted to speak, but could only manage a feeble whisper.

"Jamie...we...should...probably...You...need to..."

Nick swallowed once again. The silence was scary. He could hear their heavy breathing quite clearly now. Their warm bodies closer than ever before. He wasn't sure he would be able to complete his sentence and say what he needed to.

Jamie could practically feel the hot, exciting sting of sparks flying fast and thick between them. The way Nick had not just accepted the embrace but reciprocated, the way he touched the small of his back - chills! - spoke volumes. Jamie could just about have climbed right into the man's lap in that moment. God, no touch with a girl had ever been like this. Everything he wanted was right here.

Of course, he still could have been imagining a lot. Wishful thinking was a powerful thing. But he was on a trajectory now and there was no stopping it. Jamie was about to do either the dumbest thing he'd ever done in his life, or the greatest.

Nick looked nervous. He sounded nervous. Jamie leaned closer before he could finish his halting sentence, and pressed his lips decisively against Nick's.

Fuck yes. Fuck...

When the man didn't immediately object, Jamie darted his tongue out slightly, tasting the other man, wanting to absorb Nick with as many of his senses as he could at once.

He would have been surprised by the kiss if he had any time to think, or react, not to mention the fact that he wanted it just as much as Jamie, it seemed. He just didn't know it until now, even though he had been transfixed, staring into the boy's eyes for a long time before their lips met.

The nervousness vanished into thin air the moment their lips made contact. Someone peeking in from outside would have noticed sparks flying between their mouths as Jamie pressed his own against Nick's and did him a favor by shutting him up. Otherwise Nick probably would have had no idea what more to say, or the courage to do what he wanted to, in that moment.

His palm pressed further against the small of Jamie's back. When Jamie tried to taste him by slipping his tongue between his lips, Nick responded by gently sucking on his tongue before tilting his head a bit and pressing his lips firmly against the boy's mouth, kissing him intently, but softly, closing his eyes.

Nick didn't realize it wasn't the most comfortable position for the boy as he was leaning over towards him, but he had not intended for this to happen, much less plan on how they would be sitting, and now kissing. The manhood in his jeans was stirring. It had not done that in a long time. And all because of this boy named Jamie who he had just met a few hours ago.

Such a soft, delectable mouth. His hand reached up to cup Jamie's cheek, fingers sliding into his hair before moving it aside and then grabbing the back of his head gently. His tongue snaked between Jamie's lips now as they lost themselves in a passionate kiss, in the dim glow of the street lighting, not caring about a thing in this world.

Oh... heaven....

Jamie's body rose as Nick responded to the kiss, even pushing his tongue into Jamie's mouth and stroking his hair. There was no hesitance in either of them now - mutual want and need was taking over. They were creatures of instinct, of primal drive.

Jamie slid his tongue against Nick's, twisting, probing, massaging. God, it was so sensuous and so sexy - he was so much more aware now of what he had been missing, trying to force things to work with a girl. Everything until now had just been going through the motions and now he was finally tasting something real.

He absorbed Nick's receptive energy and let it multiply within him, returning every caressing touch, letting his soft palm indulge in the rough stubble of Nick's cheek and jaw before hooking around the back of his neck and toying with his hair, memorizing every sensation.

He paid no attention to the awkward position of his body, twisted around in the front seat of the car - the kiss was the only thing that mattered. He hadn't quite realized how his hips had been rotating, instinctively working their way closer to Nick, until he felt his poorly veiled erection nudge against the man's thigh.

His lips broke away from Nick's with a gasp, and he tried to withdraw the lower half of his body while keeping his top half pressed against the older man.

"I'm sorry," he panted. "No... I'm not sorry. Please don't be mad at me. Please don't say we'll regret this. It's too perfect."

Nick felt Jamie's body press up against his further as their kiss deepened. He caressed his hair, fingers tangled, lips sucking, tongues probing, body temperatures rising. Is this what a first kiss was supposed to be like? Well, whatever it was, it was amazing. Even though Nick had not had sex in a...hilariously long time...this was still nothing like he had ever experienced.

Jamie's lips were like a remedial balm for the loneliness, the tiredness he had been feeling for years and only made him want to kiss them more. He was in heaven indeed. But how long could this last? He was kissing a man. Not just a man. His daughter's boyfriend. If anyone saw or found out what they were doing, that would be the end of everything. And what about Connie? What if she found out? And Kelly? Oh my god! This was a complete disaster. This had to stop. Now! But he didn't want it to stop. Not at the moment.

He felt the erection brushing against his thigh, his own wanton desire straining against the denim fabric. As their lips left each other and their eyes met once again, Nick caught his breath and stared at Jamie with a knowing smile. His fingers caressed the blonde hair, drawing it back from his face.

"I am not mad at you, Jamie."

He was right. It seemed perfect. Whatever was happening between them could not be described using another word. He wasn't sure whether he would regret it though. Nick continued hesitantly, not wanting to say anything that would either scare the boy or make him do something he might actually regret later on. He himself was confused as to where this was heading.

"But I think...you should go home now. And I need to go get some sleep. We can talk about...let's talk tomorrow, okay?"

His breathing had not returned to normal, but the panting had stopped. Nick held onto Jamie even as he said those words as if he didn't want him to go, his hand firmly placed against the boy's back. He wanted to make sure Jamie was fine before they parted ways for the night.

Jamie pulled in several long, deep breaths, drinking in as much of the man's scent at close range as he could. He was at least as reluctant as Nick was to break the embrace, the older man's hand at his back a clear signal. It felt so fucking delicious, to be touched this way by a man.

"Yeah," he whispered in agreement, but made no move to free himself. After a night's sleep, Jamie knew there was a good chance that some distance and clarity would convince Nick of what a terrible mistake this had been, and they'd never get to do it again.

So, instead of letting go or giving Nick his phone number, he slowly kissed each of Nick's cheeks, and then placed another slow, soft kiss right at the edge of his mouth.

"We'll talk, I'm sure," he whispered next to Nick's lips, his fingers still toying with the soft hairs at the back of the man's neck.

"Are you sure I need to go?"

When neither of them made an effort to free themselves, Nick began to wonder if it would be an even bigger blunder on his part to let this continue. It felt so right though. And so fucking good. When Jamie's sensuous lips touched his skin once again, he closed his eyes for a moment, wanting to get lost in the passion that had enveloped them.

Nick reopened his eyes and looked at Jamie. His eager eyes were telling him not to leave as those soft lips hovered over the corner of his mouth. He felt his semi-hard cock wanting to break free as Jamie was beginning to tempt him. His hand moved from the small of Jamie's back and slid further around the waist, grabbing and pulling him tightly, not caring that his body may have been twisted further in the effort. Nick tilted his head to kiss Jamie fiercely this time, his other hand grabbing his hair at the back of his head.

When their kiss finally broke, Nick was panting. "Fuck!" He exclaimed breathlessly, staring at the beautiful face in front of him. "Jamie..." He released the blonde tresses from his grip and adjusted in his seat, moving his upper body back slightly. Nick then released his hold on the young man and cupped his face with both hands gently, his brain taking over for now at least.

"Listen to me. You need to go home, Jamie. Right now. I know you're worried. About a lot of things probably. But I promise you, everything will be alright. Trust me. I...I just need to figure out...You have done nothing wrong. Don't worry."

There was a sadness in Nick's eyes that was concealed by the smile he gave Jamie before letting go of him and withdrawing his hands from the boy's face.

"We need to stop, take a step back and think about what's happening. What will happen if we...Just...let us not get carried away here, okay? Let's talk tomorrow."

Jamie's hormones were raging. When Nick's kiss grew more ferocious, the hand at the back of his head tugging at his hair in a way that drove him wild, the boy wanted to grab him in return, to claw at him and dig beneath his clothes.

But soon Nick was making firm eye contact and speaking to him in a way that was kind but nonetheless invited no argument. Was this what a dad was like - reassuring, inviting trust, and being firm about discipline? Even while he was disappointed to have to stop, Jamie was thrilled and even more turned on by Nick firmly taking charge of the situation. He settled back into his seat, breathing raggedly. He knew his shorts couldn't possibly conceal the state of his arousal, and if he put his hands over it right now, he'd just be drawing more attention, so he let it be. Maybe he wanted Nick to get an eyeful.

"Okay," he panted. "Thank you. Thanks for... this. For being....."

He broke off with a chuckle and blushed, lowering his eyes: "...super cool."

Jamie grabbed his backpack and looked up to meet Nick's gaze again. He reached for the man's hand and took it, squeezing. "Whatever this was, I think I really needed it. More than you know. More than I even knew."

He let go of Nick's hand and reluctantly opened the door, slipping out. He leaned down to smile at Nick once more before closing the door.

"Can't wait to see you again. G'nite, Nick."

Whatever this was, I think I really needed it. More than you know. More than I even knew.

Jamie's words kept sounding in his ears as he lay in his bed after getting home and heading straight to his bedroom. What did the boy mean exactly? Nick knew whatever had happened was mutual. And he had surely enjoyed every delicious moment of it. However sinful it seemed. Of course, that was because he was programmed to think about the opinions of others. As we all usually are. But he needed this too. Even though Jamie was the first to actually say it. And more than he knew. Ditto! More than he, Nick himself knew. Fuck yes! The boy had been absolutely right.

It was late by the time he had gotten back and Connie was already fast asleep. He felt like a criminal when he slipped in next to her, as if he had betrayed her. Didn't matter how she had been treating him for years, right? Didn't matter that there was no love between them anymore, right? Didn't...well, it didn't matter.

The plan had been to drop the boy at his place and return home for a good night's sleep. Nick dropped the boy home alright, but sleep eluded him throughout the night. He tossed and turned in bed, thinking of Jamie and what had happened in the car earlier that evening.

He wanted to kiss him again. Feel those lips against his mouth. Feel that electricity between them. Run his fingers through Jamie's silken hair and feel the warmth by grabbing him and running his hands all over his body. Just thinking about it kept him aroused and when he glanced at the clock next to the bed, it was almost 2:00 am.

When the alarm went off at 6:00 am, Nick was unable to open his eyes at first. He pressed the button on the alarm clock and turned towards Connie who was not fully awake either. He decided to leave the bed and headed for the bathroom.

The hot water soothed his tense muscles as it cascaded down his body. Standing in the shower, Nick closed his eyes and tried to get rid of the thoughts that had occupied his mind since the night before. Thoughts about Jamie. His daughter's pretty boyfriend who had kissed him. No-one had kissed him like that in a long, long time. No-one had been so nice to him in a long, long time. He finally closed his eyes, gripped the base of his already rigid cock and started to slide his hand up and down the length of the shaft in slow, steady strokes as the water kept splashing against his chest.

Jamie entered his empty, quiet townhome, dropped his backpack, and fell into bed with a long sigh.

"I kissed my girlfriend's dad," he said to the dark room, needing to articulate it aloud to make sure he remembered it was real. "Holy shit, I kissed her dad."

In retrospect, he couldn't imagine where he'd found the balls to do such an unthinkable thing, but he was glad he did, because man, was it ever the sexiest makeout session of all time. His whole body felt like it was burning in the wake of it.

Quickly he rolled over and wriggled out of his clothes, his arousal overwhelming him all at once. It was so difficult to stay interested when he was fooling around with Kelly in her car, but with Nick, he'd almost lost all control. Now, he had to indulge himself thoroughly.

He pulled out the discreet little bottle of lube he kept in his bedside drawer and went to town, slicking up his rigid, throbbing erection, as well as his fingers, which dipped down beneath his balls and found his eager little hole. He'd been experimenting a little with penetration lately, unbeknownst to his girlfriend or anyone else, and discovering just how fucking fantastic it felt to have something up his ass. He plunged two fingers in and groaned, legs splayed wide, as his other hand pumped his shaft furiously.

It took no time at all to bring himself to an explosive orgasm. His seed splattered and pooled on his flat belly. He drew his fingers through it and licked them as he fantasized about licking cum off of Nick's body. Fucking sexy dad. Sexy, smart, nice, an all-around perfect guy.

Perfect except for being married. And being Kelly's dad. His fucking girlfriend's father. How had this tangled web been woven so quickly?

He was hard again, or perhaps he'd never actually softened. He was resilient, and hornier than he'd ever been in his life. He rolled over to grab the t-shirt he'd been wearing, smelling it desperately.

YES - there was a subtle but distinct essence of Nick on his shirt, thanks to the hugs. He breathed deeply and once more worked furiously on his hard shaft. He came a second time within about ten minutes, smelling Nick and thinking about what could have happened in that car if they hadn't stopped.

The night wore on, and Jamie continued masturbating until his body physically couldn't take it anymore. In all he came four times within a couple of hours, and he finally had to drag himself up out of bed, threw on some boxers and an undershirt just in case, and went to the bathroom to clean off.

By the time he was coming out, his mom had gotten home from work. He was glad he'd had the foresight to be decent, and that she was coming down the hallway after he'd cleaned up instead of before.

"Oh, honey - you're up late!" she remarked, squeezing his shoulder.

"Just had to go to the bathroom - back to bed," he said vaguely, adding a yawn for legitimacy. "Work okay?"

"Whew - eight-hour surgery," she exhaled, giving him a dramatic look of exhaustion. "I could drop dead. Before I do, tell me about your day."

Jamie shrugged and smiled. "It was pretty good, all things considered."

"How are things with - what's her name? Kelly?"

"Yeah... um, Kelly and I had a bit of a spat, but I'm sure she'll get over it. She always does. I met her dad today. He was... really cool."

"Oh? Single dad by any chance?" she asked with a smirk.

"Unfortunately not," Jamie chuckled, only feeling a little bit guilty. He edged back toward his room before she could see how his cheeks were darkening. "G'night, mom. Love you."

"Love you too, champ. You're a good kid. We'll talk more soon - I promise."

She squeezed his arm and retreated to her bedroom. Jamie sighed as he returned to his own bed.

I'm not so very good a kid.

And yet, he found he had a hard time feeling bad about it.

Before going to sleep, he Googled Brown's Books to find out what was happening on Saturday that Nick had noted on his calendar. It was a special talk and book signing by a local author named Colette Masters who had published a moderately successful collection of short stories, which had been big talk in their small town. He hadn't read anything by the author himself, but he recognized the book as his mom had a copy that she'd been given as a present and he wasn't sure she'd ever read. He vaulted up from his bed and hurried to the living room bookshelf, finding the book immediately. He dusted it off and was awake nearly until dawn reading the stories, eager to have something in common with Nick.

......

The next day at school, Kelly took her usual place by Jamie's side and kept up all external appearances, dragging him around by the hand and smiling her perfect Prom Queen smiles at the outside world. Meanwhile, she said not a word to him except to hiss little corrections at him as if he were her dog. She was clearly playing some kind of emotional game, making sure her claws remained embedded in him while she attempted to punish him. Jamie wasn't fazed by it; he had more important things to think about.

One of the things he spent a lot of his energy on that day was figuring out how he might get Kelly's phone away from her and find Nick's number. They hadn't exchanged numbers yesterday, and he wasn't sure how they were going to get in touch unless Kelly dragged him over to her place again - he didn't anticipate that happening again too soon, the way she was acting.

"Hey - can I borrow your phone for a minute?" he attempted at lunch, once he'd accepted that she wasn't going to leave it unattended for a moment. "Mine's on the fritz, and I need to call my mom."

"What's the emergency?" she wondered, giving him an uncomfortably probing look.

"Nothing, I just said I'd call and she might worry."

"What's wrong with your phone?"

Jamie rubbed the back of his neck. He couldn't think of a problem other than, "It just ran out of battery."

"I just saw you playing with it like, five minutes ago - if you had such an important call to make, maybe you shouldn't have been playing fucking Candy Crush all day."

Jamie narrowed his eyes at her. "I've never played Candy Crush in my life!"

Kelly rolled her eyes. "Fucking whatever. No, I'm not giving you my phone just because you're an irresponsible ass. It sets a bad precedent. I'd just be rewarding you for stupid choices, wouldn't I?"

Jamie gave her a grim smile. He was truly beginning to hate her now. "Well, never mind," he breathed.

Worst case scenario, tomorrow was Saturday - if Nick followed through on the plan he'd written on his calendar, he'd see him at the bookstore. He pulled out the Colette Masters book and spent the rest of his lunch hour reading.

"What the fuck were you doing in there for so long? And why was the door locked? How am I supposed to use the bathroom when..."

Connie bitched at Nick just as he was stepping out into the bedroom, wrapped in a towel, the look of satisfaction on his face fading away as soon as he saw her standing in front of him. He could not tell her that he had masturbated not once, but twice, to the thoughts of a young man named Jamie, who by the way, was also her daughter's boyfriend, who she had snuck in to their home yesterday evening in order to fool around behind their backs before being caught red handed by him. He was trying to imagine her reaction if he had actually told her all that. Instead, he calmly looked into her eyes and to her surprise, interrupted.

"I was taking a shower."

"A shower? It never takes you that long for a shower, Nick. And why did you have to lock the door?"

The frustration was growing on his face as she kept probing. He couldn't understand why she was suddenly showing so much interest in how long he spent in the bathroom, other than the fact that she couldn't use it. He let out an exasperated sigh, closed and re-opened his eyes and met her uncomfortable gaze.

"Okay. You want to know what I was doing in there for so long? I was masturbating."

And it was fantastic! I enjoyed it so much, you have no fucking idea! And I wish his mouth had been where my hand was!

He couldn't believe he had actually said even that much to his wife. If she had asked him anything more about his shower session right then and there, he was afraid he might just spill it all out in anger, out loud.

"Mas...Yeah right! Are you being a smart ass again, Nick? If not, at least don't make it obvious that you're lying."

Connie had a slightly confused look on her face before she let out a snort as if Nick was unable to get it up and fucking jerk off. When was the last time she had managed to arouse him? He couldn't even remember.

"What is that supposed to mean?"*

"What does it mean? Nothing. Forget it. I need to get ready and go to work. I don't know why I am standing here discussing this with you anyway."

Forget it? She was just impossible. What did she think of herself? He was in no mood to discuss anything with her either. She was the one asking the fucking questions!

"I don't know why you are doing that either." Nick muttered under his breath as Connie disappeared into the bathroom not interested in what he had to say anyway.

I don't know why I am still married to you either.

Nothing they said to each other made any sense these days. It had gotten from bad to worse. He had heard of bad marriages. This was a complete and utter disaster.

Nick went into the closet and as he was putting on his clothes, he remembered what he had told Jamie last night. They would talk. They were supposed to talk about...whatever had happened. He was supposed to call...was he? But how? He didn't have Jamie's phone number. He of course knew where the boy lived. He could always visit him. But that would be a bad idea. Especially if his mother was home. In fact, it could be even worse if she wasn't home, and it was just the two of them. Even though that's what both of them, secretly...no, not anymore, not so secretly, wanted.

The phone on his desk rang as soon as he entered the study. It was the owner of Brown's Books and a friend of Nick's. When he noticed the caller id, he instantly remembered what it was about. Colette's talk!

"Good morning, Nick. I called to remind you about the talk tomorrow. And we are having dinner after that. I'm paying."

"I had almost forgotten about it, Joe. Too much going on over here. Thanks for the reminder. I'll see you tomorrow at 6 o'clock."

Nick hung up and sat back in his chair, staring at the calendar. It was going to be a busy day for him. He had to drive downtown to meet his publisher as promised. A meeting he was so not looking forward to. He had not gotten any sleep, which would make it even worse. On top of that, he had no idea what he was going to do about Jamie. A part of him wanted to see him again. And do unspeakable things with him. To him. Another part felt like they should end it...whatever it was...and never speak to each other or about it ever again.

Nick's meeting with Tim went better than he had expected. Nick was able to convince him to extend the deadline. He had not anticipated the man would agree so quickly, after some of their recent conversations had shown no hope of the book ever seeing the light of day. Relieved to have taken care of one problem, Nick was driving home when images of him and Jamie started flooding his brain and taking over his senses. He had somehow successfully managed not to think about the boy too much since leaving his house in the morning, since he had to prepare and rehearse on how he was going to convince Tim. Now that he was past that particular hurdle, he couldn't get Jamie out of his mind again. He felt a tingling sensation in his groin as the light turned red at the intersection.

Maybe concentrating on his book might help him rid of the sinful thoughts. He had to finish writing the draft soon anyway, otherwise Tim was not going to grant him any more extensions. He felt slightly guilty for not contacting the boy as he had promised. There were always ways he could reach him, but he wanted to wait and give it time. Not seem so eager. He was not a teenager after all. Maybe he'd feel differently tomorrow. Or the day after. And all his problems would be solved. Or would they? Thankfully, the boy had not tried to contact him so far. But he wondered how long it would be before Kelly brought him home again. Unless...he decided to break up with her? That would be a good idea for everyone, wouldn't it?

Nick spent the rest of Friday locked up in the study, only emerging for dinner or to get some fresh air from time to time. He decided he was going to get a good night's sleep Friday night. Connie was going to be out with her friends apparently. He could care less where she was. Turning off his computer, he headed to his bedroom, shutting the door behind him. Changing into his pajamas, he climbed into bed and slipped his hand inside to grab his semi-rigid member and pulled it out, stroking it steadily. Pulling his pants down to his ankles and leaning back against the headboard, Nick closed his eyes. He imagined Jamie's hot little mouth wrapped around his thick head, his tongue sliding over his shaft instead of his fingers. He increased the pace as his palm squeezed the erection from the base all the way to the tip with every stroke. The climax was intense as he sprayed cum all over his belly and his thighs, staring at the ceiling. Nick slept wonderfully that night.

After another sweet masturbation session during his Saturday morning shower, he cooked himself breakfast and locked himself up in his study once again until it was almost 4 o'clock. He had decided to skip lunch after the heavy breakfast he had eaten. He had accomplished a lot in the past twenty hours or so of writing he had done. Pleased with his productivity, he decided it was time for a much needed break. Besides, he had an appointment at six o'clock at Brown's for which he had to get ready. He wondered what Jamie was doing right now as he drove to the bookstore. Surprised at himself that Jamie has not entered his mind until now, except for twice when he had gratified himself, since he was under pressure, trying to work on the book. As soon as he had taken a break, his thoughts began to wander. An idle mind is the devil's playground, Nick.

On Friday after school, Jamie suffered an insipid conversation with Kelly that, in sum, involved her quizzing him as to whether he intended to take her out somewhere nice, implying that, since they were an item, a Friday night date was assumed. When he gave an ambiguous response, she countered by rubbing in his face that she had plans with her awesome friends, who treated her the way she deserved. Was he supposed to feel guilty? Was this a punishment? Jamie had a hard time not laughing at her by now. He told her to have a wonderful time and went home to read.

He was getting more into the Colette Masters stories than he'd expected, and after only a day of reading - and of having the book tumbling around in his backpack alongside piles of textbooks - it looked like it had been loved for much longer.

By the time he was going to bed, he'd read all of the stories and re-read a couple of his favourites, wanting to know what he was talking about in case there was some sort of discussion. He wanted to read more, but he kept getting distracted by thoughts of Nick, thoughts of what happened in the car, and what might happen again. He also kept checking his phone, in case Nick figured out some way of getting in touch with him. Eventually he had to set aside both his book and his phone and pull out his lube, enthusiastically masturbating and fingering himself to fantasies of being pulled into a dark, secluded aisle of the bookstore by Nick and making out... licking, nibbling, grasping and wriggling... stroking each other's bulges... sneaking hands inside pants and underwear, grabbing hot, hard flesh....

He got himself off spectacularly three times in a row before falling asleep, exhausted.

Another round in the morning had him fantasizing about being fucked, and wishing he had something better than his fingers to simulate a hard cock. Once he'd spurted his latest load into yesterday's clothes and tossed them into the hamper, he had an idea for how to pass his morning. After he'd showered and dressed, he hopped on the bus and visited the small town's only sex shop.

He kept his head down, shading his face beneath the hood of an oversized sweatshirt, not wanting to be recognized if he could avoid it. In small towns, everyone had loose lips. Fortunately, the place was quiet, and there was just some college girl he didn't know working there. She left him alone while he picked out a tasty-looking silicone dick and a large bottle of water-based lube.

That afternoon, Jamie spent plenty of quality time with his new little friend. He didn't have an easy time getting the dildo in, and he didn't want to rush it and hurt himself. He kept his mind on Nick while he tried again and again to work the silicone dick up his tight passage, using more and more lube until he finally had the thing several inches up his ass. It was nothing like it was in porn, and it hurt like hell, but once he'd gotten himself a little used to it, the pleasure outweighed the pain and his arousal came back stronger than ever.

He whispered Nick's name over and over while he edged himself, drawing out his pleasure as long as he could. Meanwhile, Kelly was texting him repeatedly - even the generic notification on his phone sounded like nagging - and ignoring her was in itself a satisfying pleasure.

The afternoon went much more quickly than he expected, and Jamie decided he wouldn't cum again before leaving. He didn't want to totally wear himself out. Just in case. He washed up and put on something he thought would be cute - his skinniest jeans, and a pale pink shirt Kelly wouldn't let him wear because she said it was "kinda gay". Grabbing his book, he bounced out the door and headed again for the bus stop.

Jamie arrived well before six, wanting to get there before Nick if he could. Let Nick find him, so it really looked like a coincidence. He browsed the store, staying within the vicinity of the table and chairs that had been set up for the Colette Masters talk, so that Nick would spot him more easily.

Nick arrived at Brown's books just a few minutes after six o'clock, fearing he might be late for the event he'd been looking forward to for so long. Joe had been busy working with his staff as they prepared for Colette's talk. The chairs were half empty which surprised Nick since he had expected a full house. He knew Joe had reserved a seat next to him in the front row.

Colette was one of Nick's favorite authors. He had met the woman a couple of times over the years, but doubted whether she would recognize him if they ever came to face to face again. He walked over to where Joe was talking to one of the event organizers, and sneaking up behind him, quietly said.

"You told me it was six o'clock. Am I early?"

Joe turned around and smiled at Nick, shaking his hand and the two friends hugged each other.

"You would have actually been late, Nick. Colette's not going to be here for another half an hour at least. She's running late. So, I guess you're early."

No wonder most of the chairs were empty. He looked around and noticed a lot of people wandering around, chattering, or just reading books while waiting for the special guest to arrive.

"Well, I'm glad I'm not late. And that gives me some time to browse the store for a bit. I'll see you in a few, Joe."

Nick was perusing the fiction section when his eyes fell on one of the new romance/erotica novels that had a picture of a woman dressed in a nightgown. But that's not what made Nick stare at the book cover. Next to her was the image of a young man, maybe in his mid twenties. He had long blonde hair, a lean athletic figure with a pretty face and he looked just like...

What's the matter with you Nick? Why are you looking at beautiful men all of a sudden? That's not Jamie!

Of course it wasn't Jamie. It was just some random book cover with a half naked man on it and Nick was staring at it as if he wanted to get into bed with the guy right now. He wanted to get into bed with Jamie. And kiss him. And run his hands all over him. He tried to get the thoughts out of his mind, glancing at his watch and then towards Joe once. He moved to another section in the isle, telling himself the same thing over and over again, thinking maybe that reiterating might cause some magic to occur.

That's not Jamie. That is not Jamie. Forget about Jamie. Forget about...

"Jamie!" Nick muttered.

Magic occurred alright. But not in the way he had expected. Standing a few feet away from him was the young man he had kissed a couple of days ago. He couldn't be sure if he had noticed Nick yet. He seemed to be scanning through some book standing there.

What is he doing here? Should I go talk to him? No. Shit. What do I do now. Ok, Nick. No need to panic. So what if you promised to call him the next day. Just turn around and walk away. Maybe he won't even see you.

Nick's brain was telling him one thing, His heart was not sure why. He just stood there staring at the boy, frozen, lost in his thoughts.

Jamie had been browsing the "Local Interest" section, picking up a book now and then and flipping through it, while his mind remained squarely on Nick. He set down the most recent book he'd been pretending to peruse and combed his long hair back with his fingers. Something other than his hair was now tickling the back of his neck, giving him a little shiver. Was that just a myth, or was someone (let it be Nick!) actually watching him?

He turned his head slowly to glance back over his shoulder, peeking through a screen of blonde hair, and his heart leaped into a gallop when he recognized a familiar face. He'd been expecting exactly this, and it was still overwhelming. Even when specifically planning for it to happen, perhaps he hadn't genuinely anticipated a fantasy actually coming coming true. He tucked his hair behind his ear to clear it from his field of vision and then turned his body fully to face Nick, a grin spreading across his face as his cheeks flushed a deep shade of scarlet.

"Hey...!" he exhaled, taking a cautious step closer to the man.

Fuck - did Nick get hotter in a couple of days? He looked incredible. Jamie was starting to regret not emptying his balls once more before leaving - his ass was tingling and throbbing pleasantly after his foray into penetration, radiating gentle thrills of pleasure through his core, and now the sensation was multiplied as his body remembered the sensation of embracing Nick, his mouth recalling the man's lips and tongue, his imagination replaying every fantasy he wanted to experience with his girlfriend's father.

"I... wow," he stammered breathlessly. How could he be so awkward and unprepared, after orchestrating this whole thing? He groped for something to say, and finally remembered the now dog-eared paperback he had tucked under his arm. He pulled it out and showed it to Nick, his grin widening as he took another step closer, close enough to smell him.

"Are you here for her too? I'm a big fan!"

It was too late. Jamie had seen him. Of course he had seen him. What else did Nick think was going to happen? It was a relatively small bookstore, and his feet were rooted to the ground the second he noticed the boy. He hadn't been able to move. The part of his brain that had been trying to tell him to walk away had been defeated.

"Jamie..."

Nick repeated his name in a soft voice as Jamie turned to face him, stammering before he could gather himself. He looked cute wearing the pink shirt and Nick felt suddenly aroused as he tucked his blonde hair behind his ears. His eyes had generously scanned the boy's tight little behind in those jeans before he had turned around, and then shot up just in time. But those eyes were now fixed, unable to move, just like the rest of his body. They didn't notice the book that Jamie had pulled out from under his arm. Nick gulped as he found himself another step closer to the boy. He could feel that same heat developing between them again as Jamie was trying to show him the paperback. He heard the words that Jamie had said, but had not put two and two together yet. He whispered breathlessly,

"Yes. A fan would be nice. It is getting hot in here..."

When his gaze finally left Jamie, he felt embarrassed to say the least. And it was showing on is face once the ice around his brain had melted.

"Oh...god...I'm so sorry. I was't paying attention..."

Nick glanced to and fro between the book and Jamie's face a couple of times before he said anything more.

"I'm here for the talk, Yes. Why...how..."

He didn't know what to say. He was feeling guilty as it is for not contacting Jamie as he had promised. And now he had been caught staring at him like an idiot. He closed his eyes for moment, gathered his thoughts, looked at Jamie and spoke again, this time with an awkward smile.

"It is nice to see you again, Jamie. And that makes two of us. I'm a big fan too."

He wanted to apologize for not calling him as promised. He would believe that, right? How was Nick supposed to contact him if he didn't have his number? It probably didn't matter anymore. The boy seemed happy to see him. And Nick didn't have the balls to bring it up. Not yet.

Nick's befuddlement only delighted Jamie - he could tell how nervous the man was, and the blush in his cheeks was matched by his own. This unmistakable feeling of electric mutual draw was something he'd never had the privilege of experiencing before, and he wanted to drink deep. But right now they were in public, and would have to play it cool. Perhaps it would only add to the delicious anticipation until their next heated moments alone, presuming they could make it happen.

He grinned hugely, and then giggled at Nick's correction.

"Well... you're right, it is suddenly feeling very hot in here, isn't it?" he said softly, leaning closer to Nick to make sure no one could overhear him. "I'm glad I dressed light."

He chuckled again and smoothed his shirt, fidgeting with the hem. He glanced down at himself and then up to meet Nick's eyes, searching. His heart fluttered.

"What do you think of my outfit... honestly?" he asked softly. "Kelly won't let me dress like this - she insists I need to dress more 'masculine'. She told me to get rid of this shirt, but...."

He smirked and shrugged, smoothing the pale, soft fabric over his chest and flat stomach.

"I like it. You won't tell her, will you? Something tells me you're cool when it comes to discretion."

He realized how amused Jamie was at the mental confusion that Nick was going through. He chuckled inwardly. When the boy leaned closer to him, Nick had to keep his hands to himself, suddenly realizing they were not in his car right now. Otherwise, he could have grabbed the boy's cute butt right then and there in his palm and pulled him up against his chest for a kiss. They could talk about it later. Right?

His eyes followed Jamie's as he played with his shirt before both of them looked at one another, hearts beating, bodies getting warmer, and the front of their pants suddenly feeling tighter than before.

"I think you look..."

Fucking sexy! That's right. Say it Nick. It's not difficult. He looks sexy in that outfit. And you want him! You want him like you have never wanted another man! Tell him.

Nick cleared his throat before continuing, in a softer voice, fearing someone might hear him, as Jamie's fingers ran over his chest and stomach. He imagined his own fingers replacing them. His eyes were fixed on the boy's face. Nick could clearly imagine his daughter being opposed to Jamie wearing such clothes.

"You look great in that outfit. I don't think you should get rid of it. If you like it, you should continue to wear it. I won't tell anyone, I promise."

Jamie beamed. His heart thumped so hard his ribs were practically aching from the force of it. Maybe it was just that his chest was getting tighter. He was struggling to breathe normally. His jeans - those were getting tighter too.

"Well... if you like it, I have all the more reason to keep it," he said in a near-whisper.

He shifted his weight from foot to foot, now and then licking his lips. He seemed to be looking for the right thing to say, but at the moment he was just enjoying the silent electricity between them as they searched each other's eyes. He was enjoying everything that wasn't being said.

The silence couldn't last, though - eventually someone would notice a man and a teenage boy standing around undressing each other with their eyes.

"Are you doing anything afterward?" Jamie ventured. He cocked his head, causing a tendril of hair to fall across his forehead, getting into his field of vision. He reached up to tuck it back again.

"I was hoping that... since you're here... you could drive me home again."

He bit his plump bottom lip and smiled around it, knowing Nick would be thinking exactly the same thing as he was.

"Maybe I could... make you some coffee or something. We should talk, right? We were... supposed to talk. But I guess I forgot to give you my phone number. My bad."

Nick wanted to see him again in that outfit. Other outfits. No outfits. His heart knew he wanted to see the boy. And continue seeing him. Do things with him. To him. Things that no one else would approve of.

The way his tongue flicked over his luscious lips, the way his body moved ever so slightly with each movement as they stood close to one another, Nick felt the throbbing in his pants intensify.

“I guess I owe you a talk.”

He wished the one they had come to hear would start soon

When Jamie’s teeth touched his bottom lip, Nick felt like his cock was going to explode in his pants. Such a pretty lil thing he was.

Nick had a dinner appointment with Joe after the talk. He had been looking forward to catching up with his old friend. Driving with Jamie again would most probably not end well. He was quite sure he wouldn’t be able to restrain himself a second time. And resist the boy’s advances, which were proving quite effective as he had just realized, whether the boy was doing it on purpose or not. As much as his brain had been begging him not to fall into Jamie’s trap, he also knew he owed the boy at least an honest discussion about what had happened, why it had happened, and why it should never happen again. Yeah. Good luck with that, Nick! You’ve been practically drooling ever since you saw the boy.

”I have a prior engagement after the talk, Jamie. I wish I could drive you home, but I’m afraid it might be too late by then, unless...”

Nick paused, the wicked grin behind his face not visible to the boy. At least he hoped it wasn’t. Nick thought of cancelling the date with Joe for a moment. He wouldn’t mind. The guy was busy as it is. And considering that the talk had been delayed, they might actually decide to postpone their dinner anyway. He wasn’t sure of it though. Not to mention that he would try to delay any private one-on-ones with Jamie for as long as he could.

“...unless my appointment gets cancelled for some reason. And speaking of coffee, I would like that. Wouldn’t your mother be home though?”

Nick was still in two minds. What game was he playing here with Jamie? Something else he had never done before.

Fuck! This boy is messing with my mind!

Jamie seemed crestfallen when Nick mentioned his 'prior engagement'. He managed a small smile nonetheless.

"Well... I feel like a very bad boy for saying this, but for my sake, I hope your appointment does get cancelled," he said, smirking impishly. "Tonight would be so perfect. For... coffee. And talking. My mom's pulling a double shift at the hospital. She won't be home 'til morning. So... I'll be all alone."

He sighed and hugged his book against his chest, looking like lost, lonely child for a few moments. Feeling alone was nothing new, but now he was starting to feel like he was dealing with it in the worst possible way. What if Nick was really struggling about what happened? Jamie had made all the big moves, and now he was being downright scheming, showing up like this in his cutest outfit and eye-fucking the guy. He swallowed and tried another smile, this time less impish and more genuine.

"No pressure - I can wait. I know you've probably got a lot of important stuff going on."

He glanced around the store before shifting closer to Nick and lowering his voice: "The last thing I want is to be a problem in your life. Please believe me. I'll just stay out of your way, okay? Why don't I give you my phone number, and... you can call me or text me when you're ready. Or if you don't... I'll understand. I promise. I just... hope you won't think I'm an awful person, either for... for, um... what happened, or... for the complicated relationship between me and Kelly."

The mischievous, self-satisfied look on Jamie's face was not lost on Nick as he chuckled and grinned, before his eyes displayed that same hunger from earlier, knowing the boy was going to be alone at home all night. The thoughts that ran through Nick's now corrupted mind made him wish he could just abandon the talk and drag Jamie into some secluded spot and have his way with him. It did seem perfect. In his head at least.

"You are a very bad boy, indeed."

The look on Nick's face was that of a stern schoolmaster, half covering up a wicked grin as he imagined Jamie's mouth wrapped around his manhood. The boy was not naive for sure. He knew exactly how to seduce this poor old man, who was in a dilemma ever since he had laid eyes on this pretty boy. But he was cute, and as honest as you could expect an 18 year old to be probably. Definitely had more character and integrity than his own daughter, sadly.

"I believe you, Jamie. And no, I don't think you are an awful person."

Nick thought for a few moments, then slowly pulled out the phone from his pocket and swiped across the screen, his eyes fixed on Jamie as if he was in a trance.

"What's your phone number?"

As Nick stood there, carefully considering Jamie's words, he felt a tap on his shoulder as a hurried Joe walked past the both of them, not even glancing at the boy.

"The talk's about to start, Nick. Come on. Let's go."

When Joe brought Nick out of his daze, he suddenly realized that the entire bookstore had gone silent, except for a few murmurs that could be heard in the direction of where the event was being organized. People had already taken their seats and his and Jamie's favorite author had already arrived. It was time to go. Nick glanced in Jamie's direction once before abruptly heading towards where Joe had gone. He still didn't have the boy's number.

Shit.

Jamie watched after Nick and his friend, anxious and disappointed. He saw them take their seats at the front; there weren't any nearby, so Jamie was forced to sit near the back. He sighed and tried to shift his mind away from fooling around with his girlfriend's dad. The author had arrived, and he clapped along with the rest of the audience.

Colette Masters was a great speaker, and Jamie enjoyed the extra insights she brought to the stories he'd been reading. She subtly alluded to a few of the struggles of growing up in a small town, with which Jamie was all too familiar. Some of her stories toyed with liberal issues that most of the town was too uptight to talk about, and it was one of the reasons he had appreciated the book so much. Unfortunately, during the Q&A session following the talk, he didn't have the guts to ask about anything related to the gender issues in her writing that had been on his mind - although he suspected that local fans of Colette's would be a more open-minded crowd than most around here, Jamie remained wary of potentially outing himself. He still kept thinking of the gay kid who'd committed suicide a few years ago after trying to speak out. Jamie wasn't ready to risk being a martyr. He just wanted to keep his head down, get through high school, plan his escape from this backwards town, and hopefully find some way to be happy in the meantime. With Nick, he might have a chance of that.

After the Q&A was a book signing, and Jamie made sure to hurry to the front so he could get in line behind Nick. That damn friend of his was in the way. Who was this guy, anyway? At first he was going to play it cool, keep silent, and try to listen to their conversation, but he quickly decided that acting as if he and Nick were strangers was a dumb idea - they'd already been seen talking to each other earlier, and of course, Jamie was dating the guy's daughter. They knew each other. Pretending they didn't might just draw more suspicion.

"She's great, isn't she?" he spoke up, smiling up at Nick. "Fantastic talk."

He shifted his smile to Joe, and stuck out his hand. "Hi - I'm Jamie. I go out with Nick's daughter, Kelly."

Colette started her talk and Nick's mind wandered occasionally, thinking about Jamie, and the way he had abruptly left him without saying anything. But he was here for a reason and was not going to be distracted, at least not until the speaker had descended from the stage. He could always talk to the boy after the event. Maybe. Or maybe the boy would just magically disappear! Nick, you are such a bastard.

Nick was stunned into silence for a moment as Jamie sneaked up to him and spoke, making him and Joe both turn their heads to face the boy.

"Yes...yes...it was a fantastic talk..."

Once he had recovered from the shock, Nick noticed the surprise on Joe's face as Jamie introduced himself to his friend. Joe took Jamie's hand into his and gave Nick a curious glance.

"It is nice to meet you...Jamie. I'm Joe. The owner of this bookstore. I am glad to see that we have young people like you interested in talks like these."

He quickly interjected as Jamie and Joe shook hands.

"That's...who I was talking to earlier, Joe, when you..."

"Yes, that makes sense. I was wondering. Must be something very important that you two were discussing, especially when the talk was almost about to start."

Nick's eyes scanned Jamie's face before reverting to Joe. He wasn't sure what the boy was going to say next and what else he had on his mind, but so far, at least, he didn't anticipate any trouble. Joe chuckled and then smiled at both of them.

"Jamie, I hope he wasn't lecturing you about dating Kelly. God...I haven't seen her in ages, Nick. We really need to catch up."

Nick smiled at Joe, relieved that he had brought up the subject. He was searching for a way for this night to end, without him ending up with Jamie in his car. Or in Jamie's home. Oh but fuck he so wanted to.

"We can do that during dinner. I've been looking forward to catching up as well."

Nick glanced at Jamie, with a slight apologetic look. The boy was right there. He might as well hear it in person and not feel like Nick was lying to him about his appointment.

Jamie met Nick's eyes, disappointed but doing his best to understand. If Nick really wanted to be with him tonight, he'd figure out a way. He'd make some excuse. Jamie figured this must be a pretty clear signal that he needed to back off for now. He gave a tiny nod and turned his attention to Joe instead, smiling brightly.

"So you're the owner here? Awesome! I love your store - if I had any disposable income I'd probably be spending it here. And speaking of income, I've been looking for a part-time job. If there's any chance you might be hiring anytime soon, I'd love to put in an application."

Jamie inched forward along with them as the line for author autographs gradually moved.

"Nick wasn't lecturing me, by the way," he chuckled, still keeping his attention on Joe. "We're past that stage - he knows well enough by now what I'm all about. Actually, he's been... sort of like a mentor for me. I lost my dad at an early age, so... it's been a really positive experience for me getting to know Nick. I missed out on a lot of dad stuff, and..."

He glanced between the two of them and smiled tightly, turning a little red. He took a small step back and shrugged.

"Never mind. You guys are probably here to enjoy time away from kids, so I'll just get out of your hair."

"I'll keep that in mind, Jamie."

Joe promised him, mostly because he didn't want to say no to the boy in front of Nick, but he seemed like a decent kid. His long hair and "girly" looking clothes were certainly not the norm, not that Joe had any problem with it, but he was impressed with his interest in books and maturity in the way he carried himself. Not bad for a teenager.

Nick was listening closely as Jamie talked, letting Joe know about his interest in working at the bookstore. He was glad the boy had understood his signal, but how long could this go on? Sooner or later, he was going to say something and Joe might suspect something was amiss. He knew Nick quite well. Before he could say anything, Jamie started talking about his relationship with him, Kelly and his dad. It almost made Nick's heart skip a beat, not sure where this was leading. He just pursed his lips as they moved forward in the line, hoping the boy would shut up. Then he ultimately did. Nick heaved a sigh of relief.

When Jamie made the statement about kids, Joe and Nick looked at one another and chuckled. Nick had spent his share with his kids alright. How he wished though that his daughter spent some more time with him than she did. He knew Joe probably missed his kids as well, since they were not living with him anymore. Nick knew what was going on in Jamie's mind much better than Joe did. Joe just smiled at Nick, amused at Jamie's words as he backed away.

Once the book signing was done, Nick stepped aside, along with Joe, to let Jamie talk to Colette if he wished. He knew he was right behind him, even if he had been quiet for a while now as Nick and Joe conversed about what was going on in their lives.
