Does anyone remember an old anonymous listserv called The Oracle that people would ask any question of and get sound, well-reasoned advice from in reply?

I was recalling The Oracle while marvelling at all the negative energy here on the General Bored...there's a lot of BrainRAM in this place that could do a lot of good....if only it could be brought over to the forces of Nice.
