Maybe because, he is using his free speech, and doesn´t mean anything bad about saying he has never seen an anime movie/film etc.

Well, I have Fist Of The Northstar, I have Akira, and a bunch of others from MANGA enterntainment, but I have seen more than I have on VHS and DVD. But I have also seen Ninja Scroll Vampire Hunter D, and Vampire Hunter D bloodlust and so fucking many that I could fill this thread up

It was my first anime when I was 12, since I knew about anime from the Danish version of Superplay(called Powerplayer, and I still have the Danish magazines). So well it the English version, but I also have Streetfighter 2 the animated movie, and I had Catgirl Nuku nuku , and then I also have The Adventures of Kekko Kamen (the first one, not the second), Fatal Fury Animated, Samurai Showdown Animated. Pat Labour 1 and 2 on DVD Ghost In The Shell on DVD(and the Danish translation of the comic). And some others on VHS I can´t remember the names of right now, but as I said before I have seen more than I have.

Kitten, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler but I write fanfiction though. Does that count? *grins*

Wolf, they redid Akira (well sorta) with a new dub cast and they touched up the artwork to save it from age. Absolutely fantastic. The dub wasn't bad at all! Subtitle translations make more sense too.

I've got some graphic novel script outlines sitting around if anyone wants to look.

One is a short surreal thing about plant-like people who metamorphosize in a way visually similar to pregnancy, and race is transmitted like a STD.

One is a longer more philosophical and realistic SF thing about a shapeshifter who goes through three human lovers (getting pregnant by the first one and eventually ending up happily back with him at the end, while the other two get together with each other after one is transformed into a hermaphrodite.)

One is a fluffy somewhat cliche gay romance involving a dragon, a knight, a nobleman, and a stableboy.

One the script is mostly written (though it's an anime script, would have to be converted to manga format) - that one's set somewhere vaguely like feudal Japan and is sort of a beauty and the beast story - a powerful character disliked by everyone and lonely until a particularly open-minded person comes along.

And I have a few other ideas that I haven't outlined yet.

does it have to be porn? I have some in my collection... some tit, but no real porn.... and what's the diff between Manga, Hentai etc.? I thought Manga was a movie outfit? I think it all looks the same, but my collection is small. Is it all "Japanimation"?

Anime generally means non hentai maybe some echiness like boobs here or there but no sex and stuff like that.

Hentai is sex cartoons.

manga is known as graphic novels or japanese comic books here.

hmmm La Blue Girl is one hell of a funny anime. But Jesus I have seen lots of anime series over the years on Telly. But I am more of the old cool classics made in the 80´s and 90´s. Such as Pat labour, Cyber City Oedo 808 (damn awesome series only made 3 episodes off). Ninja Scroll , Akira, SF2 The Animated movie , and so forth and so on. But sometimes you see the glimpse of extremely cool animes, so then you go after that one too. Even if it is brand new. Tekken is also an awesome anime, by the way.

i'm not to sure what terms like doujinshi and stuff translate as but i believe your right for comics that are hentai based.

Yuri means Girl on Girl Romance or sex

Yaoi (sp) is Guy on Guy Romance or sex

Shojo and shonen ai as well. I'm into the fanfic thing and write them quite often. Good exercise for original fiction work.
