I'll third that request. Already working on a Geek Pride story but even concepts that might be appropriate for an April Fool's story are not ones I have interest in writing.

April Fools Comp

Phew...
I think I have my story ready and ready to roll for the opening week...
I've just posted a story by uploading a file for the first time, rather than cut and pasting it in...
It seems to be taking longer to publish than normal, is this normal?
As I will be uploading my April Fools Story from a file, should I allow that extra time and post it before the opening date?
Or possibly lose the first week ?

Issue is the contest would end up being 75% incest stories. The topic itself is perfect for the genre, plus the appeal of the top viewed category with the added boost of a contest would be hard to resist for many

I doubt that "Geek Pride" appeals to the majority of people; it is too genre-focused. It is great for a themed challenge, but in my opinion it isn't all-inclusive enough for the annual contests.

I haven't even looked into what "Geek Pride" is about. It doesn't hit me as broad based in terms of erotica. But I don't really care what themes are used. I'll either have something for the contests or not. I've never liked the "Nude Day" theme, because I think "nude" falls short of erotica--it has to go to "naked" to hit me as having erotic potential. But I seem to come up with a "Nude Day" story most years anyway. I didn't care for the "Earth Day" theme either--and still entered.

I have two ready to go for the "April Fools" contest and I didn't think I'd have any for that this year.

Generally, I never pay attention to the contests. I just happened to see this post on the Most Recent Posts page the other day or I would have not even known it was going on (that's where most of my forum browsing starts)

I had an idea come to me this morning hat would fit fairly well while waiting in line at the bank. I'm putting my other project on hold and going to give this a try.

Just checked and mine shows 3/1/2021 so I think that is a yes - maybe midnight for the 2nd ???

It's possible that the official page made a mistake with the date. Sometimes that happens.

That may be a problem as the contest link isn't up on the homepage yet. I assume your story will be listed there once it is, but your first day on the new list is being wasted as far as the contest goes.
