The Obamagood Thread

They brought most of it on themselves.....give me a break

A break? Nope......... Benghazi was nothing but a colossal waste of money.

It's laughable that you think there's dirt to be dug up on Hillary. I will give you this much they did bring on the extensive digging around them backgrounds have received when Bill decided to make a run at the Presidency.

These two Bill and Hillary, have been put threw the wringer more than any couple on the planet.....

they are criminals and liars ... but i hear they both know how to please a woman in bed (together they have served more than McDonald's)

ah, so you are one of those ....

and you wonder why you are poor...bad decision making is part of the blame. the other part is having 'faith' in those like hillary or the obama regime.

Sad, sucks to be you.

Hillary is a crook.

That's why she's free and going to be our next President. I mean I know the people of the right are crazy :D but do you really think they're not at least smart enough to have her behind bars if she was a criminal? What crime has she committed?

In all seriousness, I dont think she is qualifed to be President. I just dont. She has way too much baggage, and I don't trust her decisions.....Libya for one., terrible mistake. She pushed for bombing and now look.....We can do better! Lets not try to make history and vote in someone who is qualifed.

But I dont think she will win and I've stated that here before......

And that's your opnion and you're welcome to it. However she's about as qualified as a person can be for the job of President. Her baggage has nothing to do with her ability to lead, it has to do with her chances of getting elected. I don't think anybody is going to claim that she doesn't have a fair bit of that. Most people and politicians would given the amount of time people have had to dig up dirt on her and Bill however.

I'm not really sure she fucked up Libya but lets put that under the she goofed collumn. Rand Paul (who like his father isn't a Republican he just runs with them and it's a disservice to both Republicans and the Pauls to call them Republicans) is the only "Republican" who isn't itching to go to war with Iran and re-engage in Iraq.

The majority of people could give a fuck less about making history. That's the argument of a man who knows he doesn't have an argument. As for we can do better, we really can't. It's the curse of democracy. Even as he's doing better than expected still I don't hear anybody really think Bernie can win this. Just that Bernie can get Hillary to say a bunch of shit she's gonna have to backpedal on come the presidential debates. We'll see how far she goes but I'm smelling Hillary "Romney" Clinton written all over this.

I don't actually want Hillary as president so much as recognize that I don't really have a good choice. Maybe the Republicans will uncrazy themselves by then. And in fairness Perry isn't insane and I thought Jeb was okay though the more I listen to him the less I like him but maybe that will fade.

It certainly does. Do you want an administration full of contant attacks from Republicans over the next 4 years? Thats a distraction and we don't need that

A goof?? Can we afford goofs in the White House?? Seriously

The majority of people could give a fuck less about making history.
Lots and lots of people get off on making history, just like Obama's run

Its early, stuff happens, momentum shifts. Remember Gary Hart? Long way to go, I'm going out early and saying she will probaby be the nominee, but, struggle in the general election.

Do I want Republicans attacking for the next four years (history tells us she's all but certain to lose in 2020 if she manages to pull this off.) no. Is the fact that haters gonna hate a good reason not to elect someone? Fuck no. That's half the reason I supported Obama in 2012. Honestly Romney and Obama are virtual clones of each other and Romney would likely have been more effective as president simply because the Republicans would magically have seen the light under him. Exact same policy from a white republican would have gotten passed with just token mumbling instead of stonewalled. But you don't reward a child for holding their breath until they pass out by giving them candy.

Yes we can afford goofs in the White House. More to the point it's absolutely impossible to avoid them because that's how human nature works out. I'm not going to pretend I ever thought the Iraq war was wise, but in hindsight even the Afghanistan War wasn't well advised. That was a goof that at present cost us nearly as many American lives as 9/11, created a power vacuum that partially lead to the rise of ISIS, created millions of refugees stressing and an already stressed region of the world and ultimately gained us pretty much nothing. It was a massive goof and they are going to happen.

Obama's run had little to do with history. Either way history was going to be made that year. Either the first woman or the first black. McCain had no chance in hell and the presidential campaign that year was really a victory lap after the real competition of the Democrat primaries.

Nope don't remember Gary Hart, I was five the last time anybody gave a shit about him and sorry five year old Sean Renaud cared about He-Man and Bugs Bunny. And maybe Challenger blowing up since I watched that live.

Hillary sadly is all but guaranteed to win the nomination. I think her election will turn out like the Bush ones, stupidly close but it depends on who the Republicans throw up and how badly mangled the corpse is by the time it gets there. We could easily have another Romney situation on our hands where the only thing Hillary has to do is run the Republican Primary tapes over what's being said in the Presidential Debates and ask what exactly caused you to "evolve" over the past three weeks? Drop the mike and leave.

Lets chalk it up to a "goof" . Man, you have low expectations......

I have realistic expectations. You're waiting for Jesus Christ himself to descend from Heaven and take charge of the situation. Me I'm willing to settle for King David or Solomon.

At some point we have to look at the hand we're dealt and play it instead of crying about the fact that we don't have pocket aces every single goddamn time.

So yes, let's chalk it up to a goof it's hardly the worst even in the last decade. Which Republican are we pulling for by the way who is without goof? Can't Perry or Ryan, both wanted to cut FEMA spending. . .until their state was on fire or underwater. Then the Federal government was awesome. Can't be anybody who was on the scene in the early 2000's as they all supported going to war with Iraq and the Bush tax cuts.

if hillary is elected ... shows how fucked America is. We have too many of the obama slave kind.

maybe it will be a good thing when China takes America over:rolleyes:

The Obama slave kind? See that's just a made up term. If anything the anti-Obama kind are the slaves happy to claw and scratch for crumbs instead of taking control of their government and wielding it like a tool to cause changes in their country and society.

As for China taking over there is little reason to fear the Chinese taking over. First we don't actually owe them that much money and sooner or later their economy will peak. Maybe past ours, maybe not depends on who you ask. But if they pass us you can't claim that socialism doesn't work, not if we're losing to it.

and by claw and scratch ... you mean wait in a line to sign up for more welfare!

I see you finally read what I wrote because you're right. I do ultimately mean wait in line for more welfare because the anti-Obama kind do not want to fight for livable wages. They want to watch the King build his castle.

I guess if you sneeze at 1.3 Trillion, we’re not in hock to China as much as some people think we are. Thats true. However, total debt is $17 Trillion

Im convinced that we need a business man running this country. Not a life long politican. We need to grow this economy more than we have done, and the rest will take care of itself. All this junk we are dealing with now, riots and sectors with no jobs, that goes away.

When your budget is close to three trillion depending on the year 1.3 is something to sneeze at. And the total debt is annoying but really nothing more.

A businesman would be a disaster for all the reasons above and there is no reason to think that they will grow the economy because they don't actually understand how an economy works for the most part.

The idea of having anybody but life long politicians running anything of any import is absurd. It was stupid 200 years ago (But really most of the guys who ended up in charge were if not statesmen fairly highly traveled for their day). In a perfect world getting into Congress would require a law degree.

Growing the economy would be nice but we can't do that with our current capitalist attitude. We simply can't. That shit never really flew and sure as fuck wont' right now.

I'd make a hefty wager on Hillary going all the way with the current slate of candidates.

Its early yet. I need to bone up on who is running and what they stand for.

Is this what you want?

Maureen Dowd

As secretary of state, she helped Obama push the Trans-Pacific Partnership that is at the center of the current trade fight. In Australia in 2012, she was effusive, saying that the trade pact “sets the gold standard in trade agreements to open free, transparent, fair trade, the kind of environment that has the rule of law and a level playing field. And when negotiated, this agreement will cover 40 percent of the world’s total trade and build in strong protections for workers and the environment.”

Now Hillary says she is unsure about the pact and would likely oppose giving President Obama the special authority to negotiate trade deals for an up-or-down vote in Congress. As a future president, of course, she would want the same authority to negotiate trade deals that Obama is seeking in the messy Capitol Hill donnybrook.

But as a candidate pressured by progressives like Warren and Bernie Sanders and by labor unions, she turned to Jell-O, shimmying around an issue she had once owned and offering an unpleasant reminder of why “Clintonian” became a synonym for skirting the truth.

Hillary did push Cuba relations which I am happy, her stance on Marijuana is back and forth. I guess she'll go with the polls on that.
