I submitted another nonconsent story 4 days ago and it is still pending. Did the processing times change recently? I've been a member of literotica for over a decade and it never took this long for stories to get published.

Well, I can't believe I did it, but I got a story written and submitted for this one, too. After leaving a great deal on the cutting room floor--potentially even enough to continue the universe in future Halloween writing sprees--I got it down to 23k words. After 29k for the Dark Fairy Tales challenge and 30k for the Crime & Punishment challenge (which still remains in Pending limbo), means I've cranked out 82k words in maybe a month and a half, not even counting things that are still in draft form. Think I might need to take a break after this one.

I submitted mine this morning at 6:30 am just before I had to get ready for work. I don’t know how well it will do. It comes in at a healthy 27k words, which is long for a contest piece, but I think it will have legs beyond that.
The Kitsune’s Mask is a BDSM story about a Domme who realizes she needs to take off her mask for Halloween. My beta reader’s top told me to be ready for people to ask about whether I top or bottom and what my FetLife ID is. I’m vanilla, I don’t, but he thought it was good so that gives me hope.
