I won't get my nipples pierced, despite wanting other delicate places pierced

Why? I loves me my nipple/breast torture. And some people's reaction to getting pierced is that they can no longer handle nearly as much pain as they could prior. One friend went from being like me to having clothes pins on her nipples being too much to take. Other friends have had nothing like that happen.

But I'm not willing to take the chance!

I rejected 3 nipple piercings - no I do not have three nipples, silly - I tried my left one twice. I also rejected 4 genital piercings including a PA. All were being pushed out.

oh well - I still have 4 others.

I didn't think you meant you had three nipples, although if you did, I wouldn't love you any less.

being wanting nipple and belly button piercing ... but being needle phobic and now reading about rejections ... don't think it will happen anytime soon ...

Well as with any foreign object in the body, you run that risk.

I've never had issues with cartilage piercings. I find the really very soft tissue ones to be more likely to be rejected, but I'm no expert.

I think if it's something you want, you should get it, but only you know what you can handle.

I've had my nipples pierced since 2003 at 14ga and haven't had any problems... unless you count the fact that now my nipples are ultra sensitive almost to the point of too sensitive at times. I've had zero migration problems though, thank goodness. I feel really bad for those that have had this problem, I know how much I love mine.

I had mine done (left one) as part of a dare when I was 19. It didn't hurt at all. Unlike other piercings that may go through cartilage, the nipples are soft. I know everyone is different, but seriously, not an ounce of pain.

The funny thing was that the breast with the pierced nipple started to sit higher than the unpierced one.

I let it close up before I got pregnant.

I'd like to get both done again sometime.

It's not the pain I'm afraid of...far from it.

I am simply afraid of the needle it self. I don't know why exactly, but I have a few theories. Anyway I go into a panic attack when ever I see needles (except for sewing for some reason ). I had my belly button done last october, and I nearly passed out. Not because of pain or anything, but because I looked over at the table and saw the needle. I closed my eyes and had some one to brush my hair and hold my hand and tell me what a good pet I am, and I was okay.

It'll take about the same thing to do my nipples. My only thing now is that you're not suposed to swim for a month after they are done, so I'm trying to decide if I want to do them memorialday weekend or wait until after summer.

I had mine pierced for over a year, but they always stayed sore and refused to fully heal so I had to take them out. I loved them though.

I missed the hell no option as well. I don't like nipple piercings on women. I'd rather pierce my nose or eyebrow, but that ain't gonna happen either. I like my paycheck!

I won't ever get my nipples pierced ... I don't know why it just doesn't appeal to me....

I did have my nose pierced but as a SCUBA Instructor constantly pulling my mask down it kept getting caught.

And I had my tongue pierced but it got caught on ... well, on ... well, foreskin!

I have my clit hood pierced though .... my Goodness, anybody into needle play HAS to have that done (and I'm not even into it!)

And then just today I was wondering if my belly botton piercing had closed up since I took it out 2 years ago when I was pregnant .... and it hasn't so now I'm sporting more jewellery ... I'm not sure I will keep it in though

it's like childbirth.. in that .. no one can tell you what it feels like..you have to feel it for yourself.

yes.. it hurt... but just while being pierced. I didnt pass out, I didnt get lightheaded, I did look at Malin and say, "You fucker"... because to him it didnt hurt at all.

If it's something you really want.. get some support and go do it.. and you'll be fine.. you're a strong warrior woman..

I suppose "pain" may not have been the best word. *laugh* I just found it to be really quick, and painless...and I wanted to establish that in my personal experience I've found that type of piercing to be much easier to deal with than a cartilage piercing.

Belly button - quick, nipple - quick, nose - not so quick although I did do it myself with a sewing needle.

So..my answers...nope not pierced...yep i'm a chick....and well.....I do think a nipple piercing is in the future? Anyone in the midwest to go with me?
