The Nice Guy

With your sister, I would venture to say it would be impossible for you to be dull. :rose:

Yeah, my older sissy sure is great. I hope when I'm all grown up I can be as awesome and amazing as she is! And having my own Love Shack wouldn't hurt either.....except what would I call it? :heart:

That has a nice ring to it....I was thinking more along the lines of The Looney Bin. If Vella sees this, I'm sure she will most definitely agree. :p :nana:

After reading Liar's and McKenna's posts, I'm beginning to believe that maybe the most important thing we can do is cut one another a little slack.

And Lauren, no I'm not much of a go getter. But I'll live with that. Lonely is easier for me to take than my heart bleeding.

The Sugar Shack is a male strip club (I think it's a chain, but we have one here). It's for female clientelle. That's why I thought it would work (and be a nice twist on Sis' place).

Robb, you shouldn't ever give up. Sometimes it's easier to stay lonely than to take a chance, but if you found someone it would be worth any heartache.

I'm afraid I have no hope of that happening, Des.

Um, yeah. That just about sums it up.

Ladies, I know of this pretty cool place. Neat view, versatile menu, pleasant entertainment for a reasonable budget. It's called "half way". Meet me there. :)

Awww, Huck, you sure know how to compliment the pants off a girl, don't you?! I just feel so ...so ...warm and fuzzy inside! Can we cuddle now?

:D ;)

Oh dear. I think we need to have a talk about what exactly "poetry" is. ;) :devil:

Five Tips to Increase Your Likeability

Item in blogs made me think of this thread today.

Five Tips to Increase Your Likeability

Being likeable isn’t required in order to achieve the position or job of your dreams, but it helps. When other people are on your side providing you with encouragement, helpful tips, and even free resources, it can greatly increase the chances of success in your chosen field and in life. Many times, it is not what you know but who you know.

While the listing below may seem to be cursory and easy to implement, they are not. It is difficult to make real and permanent changes in your personality. The process of becoming an exceptionally likeable individual takes years. Do not let that intimidate you, however. Remember: the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Likeability, like drawing, writing or golf, is something which must be practiced.

* Be positive.
* Control your insecurities.
* Provide value.
* Eliminate all judgments.
* Become a person of conviction.
