Hi Elle, doing pretty well thanks, all things considered. Was a bit messed up for a while, but I'm getting my head around it all now.

Went to the doc. They told me nothing I didn;t already know. got a form for self referral to physio.

Not good. Not good at all. In view of the problems you're having, I'd have thought that referral to some sort of consultant would have been a certainty I'll pm those details as soon as she gets back to me, 'cos I don't want to upset anyone by putting the details on here. Apparently they do physiotherapy too, but I don't know how the self referral thing works.

I'm in agreement with Elle, MF and SV.
Starting with x-ray and progressing to MRI, if the pain is that severe, there is a very real issue that needs addressing. How do they know that physio is safe in your current condition. Not impressed, ask to be referred to ortho. No, demand!

I will have help at Sexpo (thankfully) it is going to be very full on and I am working every spare minute to prepare for it.

Will see some of you there.

Not sure if I will have time to get on here before then, but I will have some lovely new stock.

Thanks all for the concern. I'm moving a bit more freely today and am about to put my boots on to take the form back for the self referral. To be fair, I do not expect to get a huge amount out of the physio but I'm willing to give it a shot and come out pleasantly surprised.

To be fair, some of this is my fault for not going to see them before about my back. They have no base line to work from as to how this condition had progressed over the last few years. I got stuck in that "You don;t go to the doc's just for a bit of pain" mentality!

Morning folks, just checking in and hoping everyone's ok. Have finally caught up after getting stuck for 2 hours in the mayhem on the motorways up here this morning

Hi Malich, physio is certainly worth a shot 'cos even they can't help, you'll be in the system, and they might be able to refer you to someone who can.

As always, the room ebbs and flows.

For those that follow, my back is on the mend and my face is almost fully healed. I'm still walking with the stick but it's more there to lean on when I need to stop and let my back relax a bit now as opposed to a week ago when it was just to stop me falling over!

It's nice to see Belle around too, and Malich sounds much happier these days; it seems like they're good for each other
