Last January, several of the 2020 Democratic Party presidential candidates and a host of liberal Hollywood elites fell all over themselves in a rush to tweet-out their love & support for gay-black Trump-hating actor Jussie Smollett, who was reported to have been violently attacked by a couple of black Nigerian MAGA-hat-wearing assailants.

But then it was discovered days later that Jussie had planned the whole thing out in advance, and ALL of those Democratic Party presidential candidates and liberal Hollywood elites backed-off and began pretending that the whole thing never happened! After all, WHO wants to continue looking like a gullible idiot?

Well... over the weekend, the New York Times was forced to walk back and significantly revise their latest false incendiary allegation against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, but their correction apparently meant very little to the field of 2020 Democratic presidential contenders, who want to pretend that it's STILL a real story!

Sen. Kamala Harris had already “pinned” her weekend reaction to the story - calling for Kavanaugh’s impeachment - at the top of her Twitter page, the social media equivalent of running a banner headline about a position on a high-priority issue. And, just like that, Kamala once again looks like a gullible dumbass!

“I sat through those hearings,” Harris tweeted-out. “Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people. He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached.”

Senator Harris’ stupid-ass tweet was still up there Monday night, without qualification, despite a fierce bipartisan backlash against the Times’ initial reporting of the uncorroborated sexual misconduct allegation, and the Gray Lady’s clumsy efforts to correct its original reporting about it.

Since the Times’ corrected the piece, President Trump has lambasted the paper, firing off multiple tweets calling the new efforts to force Kavanaugh off the court “lies and fake news,” and encouraging lawsuits against the paper. At Monday night's campaign rally in New Mexico, the president assailed the paper, calling for the resignation of “everybody at the New York Times involved in the Kavanaugh smear story.”

It was a rare instance of bipartisan agreement with the president over outrage against the Times, along with the correction, which for some journalists raised more questions about the process that led to the material’s publication than it answered. Liberal Yale law professor Scott Shapiro called it an “outrageous omission” and appeared to promote a boycott of the paper over the issue. “The View’s” self-described moderate, Abby Huntsman, denounced the Times’ report as “sloppy and lazy” and congratulated the paper for helping Trump get re-elected. And a special thanks to Kamala Harris, for continuing to stand with Jussie Smollett!

The book, written by New York Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, includes a supposedly new misconduct allegation against Kavanaugh. But the excerpt that ran in the Times last week omitted an important detail: the alleged victim NEVER made the claim against Kavanaugh, and she even told friends that she had no memory of the incident described by Pogrebin and Kelly.

The Times was forced to make a correction when Mollie Hemingway pointed out this rather substantial omission. You know, it was one year ago that a constellation of left-wing loonies cooked up a series of outlandish lies designed to keep Brett Kavanaugh off the U.S. Supreme Court. The national news media joined them in their attempted smear campaign, repeating all of the lies & slurs as if they were factual. But in the end, it was to no effect. Kavanaugh was confirmed anyway. Why? Because not a single allegation against him was proven to be true. But the left DID manage to successfully traumatize Kavanaugh's wife and children with its colective dishonesty & cruelty, as their way of not accepting defeat. It was November 9, 2016 all over again!

When politics is your religion, acknowledging reality is a sin.

A few days ago, New York Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly were heroes of the left. Their new book was released, seemingly re-igniting efforts to finish the job they started a year ago to take out Kavanaugh for good. The authors actually accused him of committing sexual assault - details were sparse, but it was enough to launch a tsunami of rage from other lefties. Chatters on cable TV denounced Kavanaugh as a gang rapist, with leading Democratic Party presidential candidates even repeating their "Jussie Smollett" gullibility in buying into the entire B-S story hook, like, & sinker!

But then (as with the Jussie Smollett hoax-attack), the media was forced to make a devastating correction to their hit-piece. The woman that Kavanaugh supposedly attacked didn't remember anything about any such event. OOOPS - the whole thing turned out to be a crock.

The NYT reporters shook off their deep humiliation by saying: Don't blame us; blame our editors. Of course, 20 years ago, no credible news organization would have run a story like that on the basis of its non-existent sourcing. But the NYT didn't hesitate, and their dishonest debacle was witnessed around the world. You might think that such an embarrassing mess would spur the Democratic Party's candidates (the ones calling for Kavanaugh's impeachment) to grow a pair and admit they got taken again. No such luck, not at all. They sounded exactly the same, as always. "There's no presumption of innocence or guilt when you have a nominee before you," Chuck Schumer said back then.

The Dems and the left-wing media are not trying to convict Kavanaugh. They are trying to destroy him and his family. Due process is irrelevant. The left feels entitled to run this country and control the Supreme Court. It drives them crazy that they can't. Kavanaugh frustrates their political hopes, so any smear against him is acceptable, no matter how stupid & unbelievable it is!

THIS is why Trump won in 2016, and why he'll win again in 2020. The American people aren't buying into the Trump Derangement Syndrome and the neo-fascist racism of the modern Democratic Party and its media allies!

Roger L. Simon just wrote an excellent article on PJ Media about why liberals and liberal-progressives tend to lie to black Americans!

Simon mentions a recent article in Slate, where normally-liberal writer William Saletan brings up Democratic Party presidential candidates Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, Tom Steyer, & Elizabeth Warren all pointing to the shooting death of Michael Brown five years ago in Ferguson, Missouri, accusing the police officer involved of murder. But Saletan points out that the original account of Brown’s death, that he had been shot in the back or while raising his hands in surrender, was false. The shooting was thoroughly investigated, first by a grand jury and then by the Obama Justice Department. The investigations found that Brown assaulted Wilson, tried to grab his gun, and was shot dead while advancing toward Wilson again.

Saletan then notes that: "Michael Brown became an icon of the Black Lives Matter movement for understandable reasons" - (FALSE reasons!) But WHY are Democratic Party candidates now promoting this falsehood? The obvious answer is that they are fishing for votes. Elizabeth Warren has a real weakness attracting African American voters. Tom Steyer is unknown to them (as he is to most people). Harris is sinking fast and needs to shore up her rep, while Julián Castro's campaign has barely been registering enough to even keep him on the debate stage.

But beneath this are more disturbing beliefs, one of which is on the edge of disgusting and actually racist: that African Americans prefer to be lied to rather than told the truth. The corollary to this is that they are easily lied to if you stir them up. The level of disrespect in this kind of thinking is off the charts. Also at play here, as it is everywhere in Democratic precincts, is fear of Trump. African Americans are doing better under Trump than they ever have been with unemployment at record lows and salaries up. Furthermore, Trump has done something never done before - spearheaded and signed criminal justice reform legislation. Better not to remind black people of that. Distract them and/or lie to them instead. Call Trump a racist, although WHY would an actual racist do what he's doing?

Just the other day, legendary power forward Charles Barkley, put it this way in his usually pungent manner: "Democrats only talk to black people every four years." He could have added: "And when they do, they lie."
