I believe that most politicans are always running for office, YDB95 - Donald Trump didn't want a political career, and he only turned to politics when he thought he needed to do something to turn this nation around (e.g. Make America Great Again!)

Come on, Dump. The "deer-in-the-headlights" look 45 had plastered on his face the night of the election said it all. "Oh, fuck! What the hell do I do now?"

He not only believed right up to that point that he wouldn't win, he also never intended to or ever really wanted to win. 2016 was just a repeat of his 2000 "toss my name into the mix" scam for branding purposes that accidentally worked.

45 has never done anything that was driven by patriotism because his entire life has been one egocentric con after another. Once the shock of victory wore off, he realized he had just pulled off the ultimate ego stroke even if only by a technicality. The problem for him then became having to put that ego aside and prove his abilities with actions that were actually positive for the country.

At this point he has pretty much proven that he was incapable of doing that and is only slightly better at running a country than he was at running casinos. But with two more years of trillion dollar deficits staring him in the face and promoting yet more trickle down tax cut schemes, he might even surpass that record.

It would also be more conducive if you didn't approach a point about ...oh let's just say an example like 45 being caught lying about phone calls to China in an attempt to manipulate the stock market...and your idea of a discussion is to bang out one or two sentences claiming it never happened and then immediately go on a three or four paragraph deflection rampage about Jesse, Colin, Megan, Nancy, Hillary, Obama, et al, until you get to your favorites of burning rainbow flags and bitching about your fantasy creation of transgender guys competing in women's sporting events.

Okay, Jay - let's DO this! I'll ask you seven simple questions to see if you're REALLY a loyal Democrat, or not:

1) Socialism or capitalism?
2) Pro-abortion (e.g. pro-choice) or anti-abortion (pro-life)?
3) Pro-Atheist (anti-Christian) or do you believe in America's Judeo-Christian values & traditions?
4) Pro-open-borders or secure borders?
5) Men-claiming-to-be-women competing in women's athletics or NO WAY could I ever support that bullsh*t?
6) Islamic Sharia Law or the U.S. Constitution?
7) Celebrating the gay/rainbow flag or honoring the U.S. flag?

Using the above criteria I can pretty safely determine how you stand politically and which party you are more likely to support in November of 2020.
