The nasty venom the Media spits at the President

Lol, you wish.

We have his tweets, remember?

The media has turned into nothing more than cyber-bulllies. Nothing Trump says is repeated accurately. It's all twisted to brand him in the poorest light possible and then repeated as if it's a joke. Yet despite this, he's getting it done. As the economy shows.

I wonder what he could have done had the media and haters left him alone...

Don't confuse that with the WaPo reporting that "White House Can't Explain Vetting Procedure" on its front page.

I don't want to engage with you because of a lot of reasons, but this shows exactly what I meant.

The vetting procedure was explained CLEARLY just today. It's done by the FBI, not the WH. During the process, if there's something that comes up, a "hold" is placed on the process until the issue is resolved. The WH is still not involved. If the "hold" cannot be resolved, the FBI notifies the WH and let's them know what's happening. the notification can be short and sweet or detailed.

If S&S, then there is no information to proceed upon so the FBI can finalize the clearance. This is the providence and duty of the FBI and not the WH.

If detailed, then the person involved is asked what's going on. If the person denies what has placed the "hold" on his clearance, then the "hold" is not resolved. The WH cannot do anything because this is the job of the FBI. UNTIL the FBI investigates further and gets more evidence, the FBI can't proceed to finalize the clearance.

Take your pick as to what type of notification was given to the WH by the FBI over Porter.. Either way it's NOT the job of the WH and they are NOT involved in the vetting process. They are in fact not allowed to be involved in the vetting process. For the WaPo to use such a headline is misleading and designed to twist the actuality of events to show Trump in the poorest light they can.

And then you go repeating it as if it's fact when it's really just twisted fake news.

Yep those tweets of his. Remember the 1 where he said he'd been "wiretapped"?

Surprise surprise. Maybe they're not so ridiculous after all.

Done here, because I don't want to engage in debate with you. So go rage at someone else.

His people made foreign calls monitored by NSA like all foreign calls. His people should have known better. So far I see no evidence Tromp was targeted.

Note: Long ago, after my Army service, I joined the Reserves. I was hot on shortwave radio then. I collected QSL cards (receipt of reception report). I requested and received QSLs from (communist) China, Kazakhstan, and Romania. I also received a visit from Army Intel curious about my writing to commies. US-foreign commo has long been monitored. Targeted, if you will.

Bye now. Watch that swinging door.

Just wanted to take a parting shot , corporal bone spurs?

US Constitution grants media FREEDOM to say whatever they fucking want.

Nothing Trump says is repeated accurately.
He is quoted verbatim, denying that he said what he was just quoted saying. Sad.

It's all twisted to brand him in the poorest light possible and then repeated as if it's a joke.
It's repeated straight. Who's the joker?

Yet despite this, he's getting it done. As the economy shows.
A ten trillion dollar boost to the deficit will kick inflation till your money is worthless. The like has happened before.

I wonder what he could have done had the media and haters left him alone...
He's labeled media that don't lick his balls THE ENEMY for quite awhile, even while MSM gave him billions of bucks worth of free coverage. All his hate just comes back to him. You want reporters to ignore his blatant bullshit and criminality? Tsk.

It's not a headline; I just made it up as an example. Haven't checked the WaPo today.

I believe the question still outstanding is why Porter was allowed to keep seeing Classified Intelligence without a full security clearance after more than a year. THAT is for the WH to explain, and they haven't. They haven't responded to Congressional Letters demanding to know why there are 40 people working in the WH who haven't been cleared. Why is Jared Kushner allowed to get Top Secret Intel when the FBI says he shouldn't be?

"Vetting" is a general term; it can describe the vetting done by the FBI, but it also describes generally the process by which the WH hires people and more importantly allows them to work with Classified Material. The President is allowed to have whoever he wants to work there; he can waive the FBI Vetting process IF HE WANTS TO. Did he do that with Porter? Why? It's THAT Vetting which is at issue: how is the WH working with the FBI, or not?

The Village Idiot's attempts to make this an FBI issue (repeated by you below) does not address THAT level, so if this had been a WaPo headline, it would have been entirely accurate.

ETA: Here we go. THis was the WaPo headline today:

White House declines to provide detailed account of aide’s firing over abuse allegations

Sanders would not provide detailed answers on why a senior aide whose two ex-wives had told the FBI early last year they were abused continued to see classified information and work in the president’s inner sanctum. She also would not say why dozens of White House officials still do not have permanent security clearances 13 months into the administration.

Sanders declined to explain why Chief of Staff John F. Kelly told aides and the news media he acted “within 40 minutes” of learning of the accusations against Porter last Tuesday even though he then continued to publicly praise Porter for almost 24 hours, with White House officials saying Kelly wanted Porter to stay in the job.

I'd call that a WH "Vetting" Problem.

Also, still waiting for an example of that "nasty venom."

I don't want to engage with you because of a lot of reasons, but this shows exactly what I meant.

That's not the point.

The point was your contention that the press "never" repeats what he says accurately.

Yeah, they do. All they have to do is show a Tweet.

And FOX doesn't? Breitbart? Alex Jones? Get over it.

I have nothing to get over. I am only pointing out repeatable trends.

Fox and Rush Limbaugh hated Clinton yet he was reelected twice.
CNN and CNBC hated Bush yet he was reelected twice.
Fox and Rush Limbaugh hated Obama yet he was reelected twice.
Now, CNN and CNBC hate Trump. Lets see what happens.

Were you at all surprised that they came around to check on you? I think not.

Seems like it would be common knowledge that communications with Russian spies are monitored. So it stands to reason that a guy calling up his Russian spy friends will be overheard.

Not at all. I'd been in commo in the Army. I then lived in a small town next to a large military base. I wasn't surprised at all that my sealed envelopes with eastbloc addresses dropped in a slot in the town post office were examined, nor that returning envelopes containing QSL cards looked to have been opened. It was all pretty obvious.

Seems like it would be common knowledge that communications with Russian spies are monitored. So it stands to reason that a guy calling up his Russian spy friends will be overheard.
Some of those guys had played security games themselves. "What were they thinking?" isn't even on the radar. What's the excuse? Brain-dead? Drunk? Cranked-up? Suicidal? Indifferent? Expecting immunity? Playing double agent? The mind boggles.

They only got RE-elected once.

But what would a 'Rumpie know about truth and accuracy?

And by the way .... EVERYBODY hates Rumpie unless they are mentally deranged.

Too easy.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said Tuesday that the bureau completed its background investigation of former White House staff secretary Rob Porter last year, contradicting the White House's assertion that the FBI “process” was ongoing.

Wray told lawmakers at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing that the FBI submitted a partial report to the White House in March on Porter, whose position involved access to the nation’s most sensitive secrets, and completed its scrub of the ex-aide’s background in late July.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on Monday that the clearance process was "handled by our law enforcement and intelligence community" and that it "hadn't been completed" at the time of Porter's departure last week.

“Look, this is a process that doesn’t operate within the White House,” Sanders said.

Spokesman Raj Shah also told reporters last week that a background investigation into Porter was ongoing until the point that he announced his resignation on Wednesday.

That's because he fits those descriptions.

Why don't you righties understand, people who dish it out, deserve to have venom spat at them?

You right wing fuckwads attacked the Obamas at every turn when the only insult they had was daring to possess rich melanin and good looks.

Shut your trap and quit defending this nasty man. You female Dump supporters are so stupid, worse than the male pigs. You all are over here defending a racist, xenophobic, misogynist.

Even Fox is reporting that the FBI had completed the check. You know there's trouble when your bitch turns on you.

What about the whataboutism in her post, class?

How are those two statements at odds? Sounds like the FBI did not issue clearance and when the White House was confronted with the why, or the scrutiny of the why, they tossed him.

I hope that your side continues to make hay from lawn clippings through this next cycle.

Not one person in America that's not solidly "Team Democrat Can Do No Wrong" cares in any way shape or form about any of this.

Dems have gotten so lazy and careless with your little gotcha moments that you already shorthand parralells to "whataboutusm" for "don't bother us about when Democrats did that."

Just because you are willing to minimize every Democrat that does this or that and Broad brush every Republican with any sin by any other Republican doesn't mean that the electorate is buying it. They certainly didn't the last election cycle now did they?

Beating women is bad. Beating men ain't so great either, usually.
Joking about beating women, or men, or anything but your meat, is bad.
Defending those beating, humiliating, or otherwise abusing women (or men) is bad.

Inflicting verbal or physical abuse because of gender or ethnicity, is pathetic.
Claiming that political registration correlates with abuse, is testable.
Bullshit claims blaming abstract groups, are pathetic.

Falling for bullshit from Russian propaganda meme mills is pathetic.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...e-domestic-abuse-accusations-went-public.html

Rob Porter, former White House staff secretary, was on the verge of a big promotion at the White House before news stories surfaced detailing past domestic abuse allegations leveled by two ex-spouses, Fox News has confirmed.

Porter, who exited the White House last week after the accusations from two ex-wives went public, was under consideration to fill the role of deputy chief of staff, multiple administration sources said.

The sources said Porter was held in high regard by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. Other senior staff were also open to promoting Porter, they said.

Since I was on Fox anyway I read some other stories. Off topic but funny.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/02/1...ing-happened-with-bound-naked-man-in-car.html

A Pennsylvania pastor insists he was merely counseling a naked man cops found bound with nylon rope in a parked car on a residential street, saying “I have nothing to hide.”

George Nelson Gregory, 61, was sitting in the back seat of a car parked outside a house in Homestead when cops — responding to a call for a suspicious vehicle — spotted a naked man bound with nylon rope in the front seat around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, KDKA reported.
A witness told police the naked man got out of the car in full view from his daughter’s window.

Gregory told the officers that he and other unidentified man were “just playing” in a consensual setting, adding that they “meet up from time to time to play with each other,” according to a criminal complaint obtained by the station.

B.S.!

The FBI knew of the allegations back in MARCH 2017, and gave their initial report to the WH.

In JULY 2017 they submitted their FINAL REPORT which included all the domestic violence charges and a statement that this guy would never get a top security clearance.

The WH "asked for more clarity" or some such nonsense, so the FBI reopened it and did some more research--which included them getting ahold of the black eye photo, which they added to the report and submitted again in NOVEMBER 2017.

Again the WH "asked for more" and again the FBI "updated" what they had. THis time, it included allegations from a recent girlfriend, not just the ex-wives.

The WH is asking for "clarity" and what they keep getting back is more proof of abuse.

In JANUARY 2018 the FBI handed over to the WH the whole file, which was "thick", and plopped it on the WH desks, saying Here it is. This guy cannot be cleared.

So to summarize

1. The WH knew of the domestic abuse charges as early in March 2017.
2. In July 2017 the FBI COMPLETED their investigation.
3. In November, the FBI updated it with BLACK EYE pics. That is when the WH knew there were pictures, and they did nothing.
4. Honey Boo Boo can stand up their and tell you the Orange Dickhead has the biggest inaugural crowds ever, but THEY KNEW and they DIDN'T CARE, end of story.
5. It's the right of the WH not to care. They're free to ignore the FBI if they want. It is an absolute falsehood to blame any of this on the FBI. The FBI did its job.

They knew the 'WHY' in March 2017. Anything else is a lie to cover their asses.

FBI director contradicts White House's Porter timeline
"I can't get into the content of what was briefed to the White House ... What I can tell you is that the FBI submitted a partial report on the investigation in question in March. And then a completed background investigation in late July. That soon thereafter, we received request for follow-up inquiry and we did the follow-up and provided that information in November and that we administratively closed the file in January," Wray said in response to questions from Sen. Ron Wyden, a Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

How are those two statements at odds? Sounds like the FBI did not issue clearance and when the White House was confronted with the why, or the scrutiny of the why, they tossed him.

The Head of the FBI, CIA and National Intelligence all testified today (again) to the Senate Panel that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.

Yet...Donald Duck says it is fake news. Why? Because he couldn't have won otherwise? Denial allows future elections to be tainted as well.
