Are you living in a dream world? If your (plural) main source of conversation in non-mixed company is race-based, you´re as racist as you come. In my experience, I rarely hear derogatory racial comments when I´m in non-mixed company. We have better things to talk about than "That cracker won´t leave me alone!" or "You know that chink at the fruit stand!! She gave me the wrong shange again, like I don´t know how to count!"

Then again, I´m of West Indian stock. We received the hate from all directions when we emigrated to the U.S.
