Morning everyone :rose:

2nd time up today so far. Now that it's warmed back up here
My body is hurting less but wants to sleep more to make up for what I lost.
nothing pressing here this morning so I might just do that.

Good morning, everyone! Omelette tacos today, and of course some fresh brewed coffee! Have a fabulous Friday, and a wonderful weekend.

And LIG - enjoy your time away. When you get back, we'll catch up over breakfast!

It's Friday and I'm feeling frisky! TGIF!!

Morning all. Headed to 7-11 for my coffee drip as soon as I put on pants.... but I am really not feeling this whole pants business today.

Good Morning PGers :rose:

I ended up going back to bed yesterday & finally pulled my butt back out of bed after lunch.
It was quiet a sleeping jag cause I was back in bed by 6 and didn't manage to get up until almost 9 am this morning.
I'm not hurting as much as I did in the chilly weather but dang I guess I was catching up on the sleep.
I can't slack today or tomorrow cause I have support work out of the house.

Late start to the office for me today.

I was up early though and got outside to begin tapping my maple trees at first light - I think the the warm weather this weekend is going to have the sap running. Spring is in the air :)

Word.

My 6yo fractured her femur a month ago, but had the pins removed yesterday and can start putting weight on it in another couple of weeks. Today we're picking up a walker and making the long drive home from the hospital.

Two weeks, people. Two weeks is all you have to prepare for the coming onslaught of the little girl whose determination knows no bounds. Have walker, will travel! :)

Wow! I can't imagine keeping a 6yr old occupied while being non mobile. You have earned your saint stripes I'm sure. :rose::rose:

Haha :) thanks!

I helped her do things like getting dressed and using the bathroom, but I didn't consider myself the entertainment committee. It took her maybe a week to figure out how to slide down off of the couch and scoot backward across the floor, transfer herself from the couch to her wheelchair, or hop across the room using furniture to steady herself.

Last week we went to the park and the first thing she wanted to do was go down the slide. We lifted her onto the bottom step of the 'staircase' (vs. the traditional ladder) and she hauled herself the rest of the way up and slid down. Ta-da!

Letting her do things herself -when she can- keeps her busy, she likes a challenge, and it counts as physical therapy! ;)
