I finally have my sister here with me and we'll be spending the next two days together, catching up and doing some shopping. She looks so beautiful and happy! So glad she's here with me for a few days.

My sister will be in town for the weekend as well! It is going to be great to see her! :heart:

I think it was me crying on the phone on the first year's anniversary of my Mom's death to start her mind shift.. She turned out to be one of my rocks when I lost Babygirl. Moving to SA means I get to see her more often.. my little grandniece is her precious granddaughter! :heart:

that is soo cool that you are closer to family. My sis lives in Dallas area, so I really don't see her that often....other family, I see daily :rolleyes:

My daughter keeps asking me to move in with her.. I don't want that change in our relationship until I don't have any other options.. :heart:

living with a parent (or adult child) is no picnic....y'all need to be sure you understand and have ground rules if it happens

Fortunately her and her man are getting lots of practice.. his father lives with them. It is all a work in progress for them but I'm more outgoing than Poppi.. He is content to mostly stay in room with his video games..

I moved in with my mom; it's been challenging trying to carve out "me" space in her house....

They bought their house with the intention of him living with them.. He has free run of the place but his room and bath are downstairs and they set up a microwave and small frig in the den so he can forage while they are at work without going upstairs to the main level if he doesn't want to climb the stairs.
