Time to spread some positive karma :D

What I'm after is a list of things that are guaranteed to get you excited or put a smile on your face. The idea is that when you put some time aside each day to think of the good things in life, it tends to put you in a much happier mood. Plus it would be nice to know what makes everyone tick in the AH.

Here's mine (in no particular order - and I may add more as time goes on)

1. Being the only person awake to watch the sunrise.
2. Haagen Dazs strawberry cheesecake ice cream.
3. Rachmaninov's Russian Vespers.
4. Travelling independently at my own leisure.
5. Sports cars.
6. Dogs - especially if they're real mutts with no breeding.
7. Women.
8. Listening to music by candlelight.
9. Thunderstorms.
10. Apple and blackcurrant flavoured squash (it's a drink you can only get in the UK)
11. Gazing up at the night sky.
12. Sleeping in my girlfriend's arms.
13. Abba.
14. Dusty Springfield.
15. Foreign (especially European) films.
16. Watching the underdog kick ass.

There we go! I feel better already! Who's next?

:)

1. Talking to my kids
2. Capturing nature in all its beauty with a camera.
3. Boats
4. Water, especially rivers.. Love to sit and listen to moving water.
5. Thunderstorms
6. Snow storms, they're so pretty (and snow in general)

Thats all I can think of for now..

Diving. It's pure bliss that no words can really convey.
I would love to get into diving, definately if I got my hands on a water proof camera.. I've always wanted to do under water photography, its so gorgeous down there.

A hug. Preferrably from someone soft and warm, trustworthy.

Smiles come easy that way.

You can pick up a reef master online for around 150$. taking underwater pictures is kinda hard though. I have all the pics my brother took on our trip. He's gettingbetter. the first roll had more pictures of bubbles from his respirator than fish :)

My five S

Sea
Singing
Sex
Sleep
Stargazing

My life is a strive to combine those as often as possible.

I'd prefer a digital.. The camera I want has an option waterproof casing, but have no clue what kind of water pressure it can handle.. Probably meant to keep it dry from rain :)

Mood Boosters:

Not a complete list for me, bu it's a start.

1. Driving: There isn't much that makes me happier than going for a long ride... alone.
2. Thunderstorm: Especially at night.
3. Sailing: Day is good, night is better
4. Chocolate Ice Cream
5. Having a beautiful woman notice me
6. A hug from my daughter
7. A nice resturant

I'll second the being the only person awake to watch the sunrise.

Here're mine in no particular order:

1. Rugby - playing, watching or supporting.
2. Finishing that bit of code in a program and solving this one problem so that suddenly everything starts working, and you realise you've created something.
3. The sea. It's not guaranteed to make me smile, but I can sit and watch the sea on my local coast for hours.
4. Walking in torrential rain, especially along the seafront back home. Torrential rain, wind lashing the waves against the shore and me walking along the sea wall singing my heart out.
5. A kiss.
6. Hearing the words "I love you."
7. Finding a girl's trigger. There is nothing better than to know exactly what to say to make a girl squirm in her seat just from your words.
8. Any dog which is utterly thrilled to see you.

That's all I have atm.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.
Bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens...

Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

I have one:

1. Sex.

Lou :p

P.S. I'll do this properly later, maybe. ;)

I was thinking "Brown paper packages tied up with string"...

Because we all know what comes wrapped in plain, confidential packaging.

Yep, and so does the postman, when the shape is very poorly disguised. Poor bloke, never been able to look me in the eye since. ;)

Reefmaster is digital :) Presurieze to the recreational limit (around 100 feet) and PC downloadable. But it's a bettery hog with the flash.

Those are kind of similar, aren't they? :)

My moody stuff.. Or what helps to fix a mood..

1. Phone calls from special peoples.
2. Cold wet puppy noses tickling the back of my knees.
3. The smell of new ink and paper when you open a brand new book.
4. The smell of leather.
5. Walking on the beach in the early morning when it is just me and the puppy and the Running Man. Sometimes I even make it up before the sunrise, though I am on the wrong coast for that.
6. Those seats at the movie theater with the flip up arm rests so you can snuggle during the scary parts.
7. Snow cones on the beach.
8. Scary movies under a blanket with someone to hold on to.
9. Did I mention phone calls from special peoples? And the anticipation of same.
10. Holding a purring kitten against my cheek and feeling the purr.

I will probably remember more later.

Earl, you made me chuckle. Does that make me geek?

So if we're tragic, at least we're tragic together.
