It seems I've been at 108 for a very long time. I have had new people follow (some in the past week), but it hasn't changed in forever. It seems I get a new one and lose an old follower at the same time.Just hit 100 followers. I know some of you folks are legends in your own lunch time but it feels special to me, considering my stories are pretty niche and I'm certainly less than prolific.
39 of 40 red H’s. No sweep is going to repair the one miss. I blame Duleigh for convincing me to write a 750 word tale (or was it tail?). Luckily it was received so poorly if I take it down, no one will notice…

I wouldn’t seriously consider taking down my 750-worder. Someone on the AH wrote a few years ago that it’s actually cathartic when you no longer have an unblemished red H streak. At the time I thought it was justification for that author’s circumstance, but I’ve since come to agree. It may even provide the impetus for me to finally publish in LW. We’ll see…If you remove the story, you've ruined your milestone. No one is perfect, and their scores should reflect that they aren't perfect. Do you know what happens if you are perfect? You die! Because there is nothing left for you to learn or learning to be gained from you. And besides that, people like to kill perfection. Ask Christ about that.

No, no, no don't go there, just NO!
Congratulations!Got my second W today, and I got it for a story that's deeply personal. The culmination of everything I've been doing and working on for, like, five years now. Maybe six.
Feels good.
Now, if you want to brag about that, it must have been done with a chainsaw or a jackhammer kind of tool!Last week, I trimmed my fingernails.

Got that out of the way with the first one.I think that's true. Once you have a story fall short of the mark, you stop worrying so much about it.
I posted my first story here 21 years ago, a month before the wondrous Ogg joined Lit (under that name, he used to read anonymously, as I did, before that). I had exactly one grey pube then.
My "Cindy Heller" humor and satire story topped the toplist for six months, and I got 'E's for that, and three other stories.
201Finally hit 200 followers in only 8 months.
Well TECHNICALLY I have 198, because of @NoTalentHack , @seraph_nocturne, @DomBombadil, and @MsFrizzleFucks
