A notice is hung up in the History and Anthropology section at a college for a working summer working to catalog the antiques in a mansion which includes room and board for the whole summer and a .5 credit for elective.
Six or seven characters accept the job and go to the huge Manon and begin working on the project, but odd things begin to happen. The house is haunted, not only by a ghost or three, but also by a vampire and his crazed henchman.
Lots of fun things happen, some folks die, and it's run sorta like a survivor contest because at the end of the story the winner becomes the new heir to the house.
Below is some of the details for the thread:
This estate sits on sixty plus acres surrounded by eighty plus acres of conserved woodland. The 17,862 sq. ft. home has been renovated and updated. This house has eleven bedrooms, fifteen fireplaces, staff quarters, original bowling alley, wine cellar and master suite with his/hers baths and sitting rooms. The property also includes a Tudor style coach house, tennis house with indoor and outdoor Har-Tru courts, twelve stall stable, pool and riding trails.
