Writers Wanted for "The Shrunken", a more serious version of "The Borrowers" (NO sex)

The gist:

An experiment in teleporting has gone horribly wrong, causing 50+ people in and near the lab to be shrunken to just 1/12 their normal height.

A 6 foot tall person is now 6 inches tall.A 5 foot tall person is now 5 inches tall.

The Administrators -- who are not Shrunken -- immediately do 2 things: They try to gather up the Shrunken "for their safety"; and they try to keep this mistake hidden from the public,. which essentially means keeping the Shrunken hidden from the public.

The Shrunken will eventually discover two horrible truths: first, there is no fix; and second, they will never be freed.

An escape is planned by some; others might believe it is better to remain in captivity; and others, who were never found will have there own stories.

I absolutely love this idea. Is the lab tech still fully grown? Does he look like a giant to Dr. Taylor? Or is he also standing there, shrunken and naked? The thought of the lab tech trying to keep them hidden from the company they work for and trying to sneak them out of the lab would be hilarious if he was a little weird and had warhammer/tabletop dungeons and dragons figurines set up in his basement where he makes them do mock battles for food. Or maybe he has a fake city and a train set and he wants to play the real life sims?

There are perverse ways the story could go later. But leading with that would cheapen the entire experience.

Would a shrunken pregnancy with shrunken womb and semen lead to a shrunken baby? I have so many questions! I love it!

I feel i should clarify; Warhammer and dnd aren't weird. Train sets aren't weird. I'm saying the lab tech is weird and has these things; he doesn't see the doctor, his boss, as a person anymore. He sees her as a toy. And no, not a toy in a sense that he'd be perverted and do dumb, perverted shit to her. I mean he sits there with a 3d printer and a sewing machine and makes her pretty little doll crowns and a princess outfit and puts her in a cell for others to go save. Others still would get like orcish armor and have to keep her imprisoned while knights had to come rescue her or something like that.

And AmyRoberts was quite clear of no sex. I'm fine with that. I was just musing aloud. lol....

Yeah, it's going to be a real balancing act between comedy and drama. I want it to be more serious than the "Borrowers", as I said in the first post. But there can be some funny moments, obviously. Barbie doll clothes. Maybe one of those rubber-band wind up balsa wood airplanes. Rats! Big fucking killer rats!

Yeah, I'm burned out on sexual roleplay. It's why I quit writing here for a while. I've been on another RP site, Roleplayer's Guild, but it's difficult to write there on a phone, so here I am on Lit again.

Totally. He will slowly become contrary to her, creating some drama. Maybe he will be suspicious of the Administrators, try to convince her that they can't trust the Administrators.

It's entirely possible that I am, as the kids would say, "The Dumb". But I don't see a character sheet anywhere.

My thoughts on a character would be the maintenance guy. Someone who isn't a scientist, but is responsible for repairing like say.. The HVAC and plumbing/electrical of the facility. Our little ragtag group needs a guy with mechanical knowledge such as that, I would think. Who knows when a wire on a gigantic 110v wall outlet may be live, etc.

Actually, I changed my mind: I'm not going to post a character sheet. I like using tabs, some people like using bullet points. I'm not going to tell anyone how to write a character sheet. If you want, you can use the profile I posted for Hannah as a basis, but you are always welcome to add more categories and use whatever style you wish.
