Hey Dommie! I will repeat the answer I gave you in my
Cafe..........

Christmas was "banned" due to political correctness.

There are many here in this country that are sick of hearing
"Happy Holidays", and years ago no one had a problem w/
hearing "Merry Christmas" no matter what you celebrated.
However, "Happy Holidays" includes *everyone* whether they
celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, etc. so therefore
no one's feeling are hurt or anyone's being left out.

One example is that some schools did not allow the singing of
certain Christmas songs in school holiday concerts that had to
do w/ baby Jesus (on a religious note); other schools included
Hanukkah songs along w/ Christmas songs.

Times have changed.
