There is a cool breeze to help take the edge of the heat and all are welcome at the ocean side spot to mix and mingle and be with one another.

A bar is well stocked, as is the kitchen, and there are changing facilities of a high quality along with accommodation for those that want to stay for a while.
And the pool is open 24 hours a day.

Take a dip in the ocean - the coral in the nearby reef is stunning - or lounge by the pool, the choice is yours.

All the management want is that you relax and enjoy yourself.

After all, it's summer!

Sun dress rippling around my thighs in the breeze, I pad barefoot out onto the deck and sigh happily.
The name of the cocktail in my hand is unknown, I asked the smiling young man behind the bar for something colourful and sweet and he presented me with this red and orange concoction, tastes good whatever it is.

Sipping it I head to the pool and dip my toes in, cool but pleasantly so. Will have to give it a try before long, until then though, I want to lounge on a sun chair and watch the ocean while I empty my glass.

Summer takes its time getting here but, boy, it's worth it.

Stepping out on deck in a flowing blue & green kaftan, big straw hat and even bigger smile

God, I love the ocean. This was a brilliant idea of yours, Ms Brit, I think I shall have to take a dip.

Stripping off kaftan, padding down wooden stairs and jumping into the clear blue water

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

I giggle watching the resulting splash from the first visitor to the pool besides myself.

I'm glad you approve! And even happier to see you here!

I've shed the sun dress in favour of a retro style black swim suit, halter neck and cut low over my hips, I love how it makes my curves look. Lounging on a sunbed and trying to get a little colour on my usually covered up legs.

And if it gets any warmer, I might have to join you before long too!

This is pretty close to my actual swimsuit (except it's a one-piece). Love how it skims my curves and makes me feel all sassy :)

Floating on my back, lazily fanning my hands to move around, loving the feeling of the sun gently warming me and making me feel cosy and sleepy, all the stresses and tensions of the past 48 hours seeping into the water

I might want that suit now.

I grin, sitting up to admire the floating form and the suit that emphasises it.

Lingerie and swimwear, easily two of the things I could waste all of my money on.

Books and confectionery are my big money drains... one of which could explain why I need more fabric in my swimsuit...

Sighing then relaxing back into the gently moving waves

Meh, just means there's more of me to enjoy this bliss :)

Beautifully put, lovely.

I move from the sun bed to sit at the edge of the deck, legs in the ocean and sun beating down on my already brown back and shoulders.

And I think I found a great spot to put this little 'hideaway'. It is pretty stunning.

Poking a finger on my arm, seeing it quickly fade from pale white to pink

Time for me to get out, doesn't take long for me to go red, sigh

Slowly ascending the wooden ladder, wrapping myself in big fluffy beach towel, hat back on and joining Brit with leg dangling

I feel a clinky drinky moment coming on, m'dear.

Handing her an icy cocktail

What shall we toast to?

I take the drink with a grin and think before lifting it slightly towards her.

Hmmm, how about, friendships and fun? Whenever possible a summer should be filled with both, in my opinion.

A wink of blue eye and a widening of my smile.

Hopefully we'll get to find plenty of both here, too!

Matching her raised glass with a smile and a green-eyed sparkle

Here's to that. I've got a third glass on ice for that Irish lass if she makes her way here... or else we'll just have to split it between us ;)

A clink and a sip and a giggle between friends and then quiet as the soft symphony of the water washes over us both.

Well, whatever this cocktail is, it's delicious and I wouldn't be opposed to another. Or two. So for Pretty's sake, lets hope she pops in sooner rather than later, or she may well miss out!

Dear Gloatingly Chirpy Brit

It's Winter here...brrrr!

But what the heck....

*jumps in the pool*

I can consider my job here done, the Fish is swimming!

I smile satisfactorily

Yawning and stretching

Sun and swimming makes me sleepy. I do believe I shall retire to my cabana for the night.

Good night, Miss Brit. Good night, Fishy... who I assume is still paddling about in there... hmm, might want to get a torch, Brit!

I believe there are some rather pretty fairy lights strung up in readiness for the night time but oooh, some flaming torches along the pathways and beach would look lovely. Will be sure to ask someone to arrange that.

grins and hugs a pretty before she leaves for the night where she is

Sleep well, lovely!

Huge shade umbrella - check. Comfortable sunlounger - check.

Sunglasses - check. Straw hat - check.

Book I've been hanging out to read for ages - check.

Plentiful supply of cocktails and other fruit based beverages - check.

Company - um......

Shrugs

Oh well, more sunshine and breeze for me :)

Brit stalks onto the decking, already dripping wet. Her expression makes it clear that whatever got her soaking wasn't pleasant or desired.

Stupid rain!

She mumbles, peeling off her sodden shirt to reveal the dampened dress beneath. Her face brightening considerably the moment the sun hits her damp skin and her eyes find a friendly face.

Hi there!

Bad mood dissipating before their eyes she heads over to sit beside the only other person at the pool.

I hoped the pool would be used today!

<Saunters in wearing a cream linen suit, a jaunty Panama and a delighted expression.>

My dear ladies! Fancy meeting you here. Essie, I see you are well provided with drinks, but I should be happy to fetch you another. Ms. Britwitch - what is your pleasure?

<Strolls to another lounger nearby.> May I?

Well, hello to you too.

She smiles up at the newcomer from the lounger she has chosen for herself as she dries off.

And I don't believe we've met, not really. But please, it's a pleasure to meet someone I've heard great things of and do call me Brit.

And a drink...hmm...I honestly don't know. The rainy place I've left behind had entered the afternoon so I do believe something alcoholic wouldn't be inappropriate. Simple and smooth, I think, could I have a gin and tonic. With lime, if they have it. Thank you.

Leaping up from sunlounger to wrap Brit in a big fluffy warm towel

You poor thing, all soaking wet. Dry off with this, it's been in the sun so it's snuggly warm. I've got a spare kaftan if you need.

Smiling shyly at the newcomer to the pool deck

What a lovely hat. There's not many men who can carry off a Panama but you wear it with aplomb.

I feel as if I know you, of course, Ms. Britwitch, since you are such a presence around here. But you are entirely correct that we have never been formally introduced. I should not, of course, have spoken to you under those circumstances, but you have created such a wonderfully informal atmosphere here that I am afraid I rather relaxed my standards. It was, of course, unforgivable.

Jean, XVeme Duc des Esseintes, at your service, madam. And now, that drink. There is a rather charming Tanqueray which is infused with Rangpur limes - I fancy that might meet the case. Allow me.
