Was just thinking about all the stuff that we say and do in here and the fact that 90% of it is probably incomprehensible to newbies. Stuff like the relationship between Tatelou and Shock Chick, the origins of drubnk, the reasons why every newbie should shorten Svenskaflicka's name to four letters. Okay, so if they ask, then we give them an answer, but thought it might be useful to have a thread where things get clarified, so people don't feel stupid in asking and get to join the crowd more often.

So, the following AHers are gay .

I don't think it's a bad idea. I know about Shock Chick and Lou and that I should never call svenska sven (but I don't know why). As a fairly new newbie I wish I'd had a guide. I've pretty much figured out who's who and who are friends, etc...

It's a good idea Earl however this knowledge comes at the price of days and months spent here at the AH. Giving it away is not likely to excite the regulars which is probably why no one posted any useful information so far.
