Yet another article presuming to suggest that The Electoral College is in any way open to debate by trying to suggest that ignorance is what buoys "support" <sic> for it.

The phrase: "Many supporters of the Electoral College. . " tells you everything you need to know about the anti-American left.

Despite the founder's inclusion of provisions to change or modify our foundational document in the only way that it is a "living, breathing" artifact, they consistently denigrate it and attempt to apply public pressure for their preferences without having the stones to call for an article V convention.

Every American is duty-bound to "support the Electoral College," since that is our agreed method of peaceable transition of power.

The anti-American left loves the prospect of the full might and power of the US government right up until the levers of power slip from their fingers.

<insert montage> of every leftist pundit decrying the possibility that Trump might not concede the election, followed by all the same faces expressing support for "The Resistance" or suggesting that winning the "popular vote" means anything at all.

She hasn't been herself lately. The restraining order must have been extended. I heard the review was coming up soon, so it kinda makes sense.
Poor, poor, gav.:)

For reasons that I'll leave unstated, it's best for the children involved that the restraining order was extended.

Touché!

He is correct though; it is a disaster for "democracy" which is a very good thing.

The fact that every time they parrot this idea they prove themselves to be total idjits is actually very delightful.

The US is not a "democracy", it's a republic. One of the things that stands in the way of the US becoming a "democracy" is the EC.

Which mean that the EC is indeed a "disaster" for democracy. As long as the EC exists in some form, "democracy" will not devour our republic or destroy our Constitution.

What we see going on here is a determined effort by the left to undermine the Constitution and the authority of the Executive. The idea is to make him a tool of the legislature. Which was never the intent of the founders. But the left doesn't give a wit what the founders thought or intended unless it aligns with their agenda.

They keep talking about it but unless they can amend the Constitution it is the law of the land.

The dumb fucks.

Yea...exactly.

And??

They also forget we are a union of states, not a unitary state.

Poor things think the USA is supposed to be like China, they just don't know any better.

Barr Prosecutor: No Evidence of U.S. Intelligence Setup

"The prosecutor picked by Attorney General William Barr to scrutinize how U.S. agencies investigated President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign said he could not offer evidence to the Justice Department’s inspector general to support the suspicions of some conservatives that the case was a setup by U.S. intelligence, the Washington Post reports. DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz asked Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor Barr tapped to lead a separate review of the 2016 probe into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia. Among Horowitz’s questions: whether a Maltese professor who interacted with a Trump campaign adviser was actually a U.S. intelligence asset deployed to ensnare the campaign.

The intelligence agencies said the professor was not among their assets. Durham informed Horowitz that his investigation had not produced any evidence that might contradict the inspector general’s findings on that point. Horowitz’ report on the Russia investigation, which concludes that the FBI had adequate cause to launch its probe, is set for release Monday. Trump and his allies have criticized the FBI probe, which was taken over by special counsel Robert Mueller, as a “witch hunt” and pushed for investigations of those who launched it. Horowitz’s draft report concludes that political bias did not taint how top FBI officials running the investigation handled the case. It details troubling misconduct that Trump and his allies are likely to emphasize as they criticize the bureau."

My advice is to take anything the WaPo says with a grain of salt and wait for the true facts to emerge. This is the same outfit that told you for three years Donald Trump was a Russian agent. Durham and Horowitz are notoriously tight lipped and rarely leak. What you're probably reading are the comments or BS leaked by principles named in the Horowitz report or their lawyers.

Fox News Legal Analyst: I 'Certainly Would' Vote To Impeach Donald Trump

Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano on Wednesday said if he were in Congress, he would “certainly” vote to impeach President Donald Trump.

Appearing on “America’s Newsroom,” Napolitano said he believed “the Democrats have credibly argued that [Trump] committed impeachable offenses” in the Ukraine scandal...

Napolitano is a poor excuse for a constitutional expert, Turley puts him to shame, Starr puts him to shame, Sol Wisenberg, puts him to shame.

I used to read Napolitano's work, but I think that he's just getting old and out of touch.

I used to pay attention to him as well but over time it became apparent he wasn't as deep in constitutional issues as he tries to claim. Joe DiGenova flat called him out on Fox one day and he hasn't been the same since.

We get the same shit here. Except we call em Seats. Most seats wins, not popular vote
Whenever the Liberals loose because of seats, they base their next campaign on getting rid of it and going to popular vote.
When they win, they see that they wouldn't have won without it and don't change a thing.
They won the last one on seats and miserably lost popular vote. Just winners when they loose and smug when they win
