The Last Thing You Thought...

yes I know... I was a psych major in college. I just called it mpd because others had, kinda going on with the theme didn't want to switch to calling it DID and have people confused...

I do in fact know someone with DID, and the alters can know of one another especially if the person begins to functionally integrate the aspects of the personality... and yes you are very correct that its often in response to trauma

I know you were just playing around and being silly, and I enjoyed it, that takes effort and tallent to be that creative.

MPD/DID is fun in a thread. Did my own research on the matter, and was going to point out personality awareness if you hadn't. In the case of my poor lycan, one alter ego is aware of the other's presence, while the main ego is left clueless. Will have to see how long that remains the status quo. :D

And yeah....created by trauma? I'd say I got that part down well enough. :p

LT ~ Maybe, just maybe, if I can get this half-written post for M13 finished...then the feud between my muse and my mind will be over and I can start to catch up on all the other posts I owe...

yes, its a fascinating disorder. when integration happens there is often a hoast personality.... that is the one who is typically most aware of the others...

I have never tried to write one myself, it seems like it would be a challenge, and so easy to screw up or make it look cliched... I might have to check out your writing of it. what thread is that?

LT:

Agenda for the day -
Willow, Christina, and Allora. In that order. Then Dreamworld.
Work on Alessa, Seerin, and "Drive" idea.
Work on piece for a special woman.
Create thread for Athena.
Finish "The Last Winter He Saw."
Drink lots of energy drink.
Find new music for the trip.
Find time to video chat my mom.... maybe.
(if I can actually remember how to sign.)
Finish it all before 6pm.

sounds like a busy day...

I never implied that. The name changes just seem unnecessary to me. Fickleness also has nothing to do with it. It seems more out of boredom or indecision. In fact, if you were doing it to hide from someone, it would make more sense to me.

Chuckles

Yeah I grumbled at her about it Fr33k. She is free to do whatever she wants, but don't expect me to keep up with 3-10 names.

I have 2 names on lit. One of them had like 15 posts. I created different names for different approaches to lit.

I log into the other one about... once every year or so to check to see if the people who knew that one send me a message.

For the record, I have no other identities on Lit. I guess I'm just not that imaginative. The only other identities I have would be the characters in my stories, and even some of them are still me. ;) (*cough* A Healer's Tale *cough*)

But now that I know it bugs some of you, I think someday I'll make a totally different identity, just so I can watch people try to guess who it is.

Yeah, that'll totally work.....until I mention my guns, or someone asks me to voice chat with them.

*adds new things to her agenda* Catch up on Healer's Tale. Get shooting lesson from Thyri.

*licks Thyri's cheek, then poofs away to continue writing*

you could get one of those robotic voices *pictures thyri with a speak and spell making it talk to the horny guys*

I shall add that to my agenda too. I should write some more; quit fooling around and get to Thyri's first romantic kiss.

*Blushes and shivers at the sexy lick and the tingles it brings.*

An arena thread in the lounge?

Hmm...not sure how I feel about that.

It can help teach SRPers how to write action and badassery...but...beyond the value of having a tutorial for writing action...I detest arena threads...the pointless back and forth with no real goal to the chaotic melee...a battle scene without goals or stakes involved without dramatic momentum pushing it is just pointless violence...plus arena threads don't teach the two absolute most critical aspect of writing fights and battle scenes...the pacing is what makes it interesting and most important of all is that the good guy always wins (except when he's not supposed to yet).

*Giggling at the thought of some of the voices I used to have on my Mac when I used one. Imagines myself as a female Stephen Hawking.*

For the record, you are so amazing. I can only handle one of you.

This may be a weird request, given the fact that I do not normally listen to Dub... but, does anyone know any good Dubstep bands?

I need to find some good Dubstep....

Oh.. I have new socks.. cute cute cute..

Well.. there being wrapped for christmas so .. sockie pics will have to wait till after new years.

Hush your sweetness, you! You'll make me gush something soft-hearted and cause me to ruin my bad-ass rep I'm cultivating tonight.
Oh sorry, sorry... Let me try again:

I hope there isn't more than one of you because you are such a bad ass bitch your nastiness would cause us all to tremble in fear everytime we sign into lit.

Is that better? ...but I still think you are a bowl of sweetness.

Yay! *does a little wiggle*

All caught up AGAIN.

I would have been caught up sooner but TKM sprung another post on me.

Music downloading. One post done, thousands still need to be finished. I'll get to those later.

For now, gotta go see a man about a horse.
