As of next year, we move to the Car Of The Future - a NASCAR-esque format that won't be anything like the traditional V8's.

I think we will be in the USA next year as well. That new track in Texas.
It's a shame you won't see the traditional cars.... :(

There hasn't been any traditional Nascar cars since the 70's.

I agree with you both.
The new COT cars are formula cars that create formula racing.
I enjoyed some of the V8 racing last year. The cars and tracks are great. Just didn't know many drivers, except our old friend Marcos Ambrose. I like his style.

And SPEED has lost F1! A sad day too.

Did you ever lament that the 4/6 cyl, FWD, 4dr. toyotas are racing as 2dr, rwd, 358ci V8's?
And they all look the same, cookie cutters.

I liked the old rules where the companies had to build the cars they raced. The teams would order stripped down versions and build the race car from those.

Of course, that won't work any more. Sigh
