I hated this Radiohead album at first. I recieved it as a gift when it first came out. I tried to give it a few listens but I just didn't like it. I popped it in the other day, and now I have to admit I love this album. I think it is a great piece of music.

Funny how Radiohead albums tend to do that to people.

Its such a complete album... I had it on today, and then went looking for another album that runs together so seamlessy. I just couldnt do it.

Would you recomend insomniac or whatever the album they released after Kid A? Or does it not compare?

Insomniac is good, but it doesnt run like Kid A (nothing does)... It gets played as often as OK Computer here, but less than the bends... also probably cause of its coheiveness. If you like the ambience and feel of Kid A, then I do recommend it, but dont expect it to be as good (except when you hear Pyramid song, and go oh my god)

i love kid A and radiohead ... my two fav songs on that album are "how to disappear completely" and "idioteque"

i do like amnesiac though too although haven't listened to it recently (maybe will today)

the bends is cool because it has some of the best radiohead songs on it - "high and dry" "fake plastic" "just" and "streetspirit" but i agree with jim it doesn't flow as well as all the other radiohead albums

mmmmh....this weekend is the first time i listened to the bends, the whole album that is.

it's better than ok computer.
