Why isn’t PG&E getting the death penalty?

Pacific Gas and Electric, known as PG&E, just pled guilty to killing 84 American citizens.

When they want to buy politician’s favors and votes, they claim that they are a “person,“ but when they admit to killing real human persons, they claim that they are just a corporation and therefore nobody can or should go to jail.

Corporate Personhood is a lie.

It was a lie when corporations argued that the Supreme Court had given them personhood in 1886 when in fact it did not.


No more Corporate Personhood, and no more phony assertions that money is the same thing as free speech.

PG&E should get the corporate death penalty for killing all these Americans. The company should be dissolved, its assets sold, and its directors put in jail.

Advertisers Dumping Facebook Like A Common Myspace

Shares in Facebook dropped one percent on Monday, following a 8.3 percent slide on Friday after several companies announced they were boycotting the social network. The two-day stock decline erased $60 billion in Facebook's total market value. As the guy in a cowboy hat says in every movie set in a casino, “You win some, you lose some."

Most businesses avoid giving companies a moral standing to cut and run, but Facebook has remained defiantly obtuse regarding the spread of misinformation and hate speech on its platform. Now major corporations such as Starbucks, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Unilever, Levi's, and Verizon all want out.

In the last couple of weeks, after 100 days of no new cases of Covid19 from community transmission of the virus, we've identified some 80 cases, all arising from the one person. Of the current cases 5 are in hospital, none have died. Our track and trace and testing regime has kicked in with over 100,000 tests carried out since this last cluster was identified. Our borders remain closed to all foreigners, and our largest city has gone back into lockdown. The new outbreak was always anticipated and planned for and our cohesive nationally intergrated strategy is dealing with it. There is nothing in the strategy about teaching impeached president trump a lesson. NZ'ers don't give a fuck about Trump because they know...

Ayanna Pressley, The Gals Make A Fine Pie Out Of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy

We know it's Apocalypse Day again, and with the world ending several times each week, it's easy to miss some of the high points. But we'd like to take a moment to point you back to Monday (by our calculations, somewhere during the late Cretaceous) and the House Oversight Committee's hearing on Postal Service Fuckery. Some of the best moments came in the last hour, in which Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Massachusetts) and other first-term women on the committee pinned down Donald Trump's pet Postmaster General Louis DeJoy on what sure as hell looks like a deliberate campaign of slowing down the mail in advance of the election.

As Kathleen Walsh explains in a terrific article, Pressley, along with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Katie Porter, built a pretty good case for DeJoy to resign, not that the slippery bastard is likely to go anywhere. Even if you haven't been following the USPS story closely (what the hell is wrong with you?), go read Walsh's analysis, which is just a very smart, fun read.

Bidden/Harris/Sanders thugs attacked people leaving the NRC Convention last night. What would they say if Americans did that to the DNC? Like antifa and BLM and M13 and the rest of the murders under the party control they would have called the police. They do every time someone stands up to them. Like the Democrats call for gun control, unless you are a Mexican Drug gang or racists pigs like BLM and antifa, they will cry and say no one but gangsters should have guns to protect them from little babies. As terrorist of a foreign nation they are not protected by our Constitution and our military and police have every right and duty to protect the U. They really want the police, a police state like China, N. Korea Russia, Iran, Cuba, etc. It is only fair if they want to be Communists they should be treated as communists. What would the Chinese or North Koreans do to them if they were in their country? Right. So should we to make them happy.

Bidden stands for censorship, police state, the destruction of our economy, safety, and freedoms. Of course as heard in Washington, if he does manage to cheat his way into office he will be there only 6 months or a year at the most. Then he will meet a Clinton accident and be replaced. The Democrats have taken the voting rights away from several states (I live In CA and we lost our right to vote in an honest election). If they really though the people were behind them and believed the bull they put out they would not be afraid of a fair and honest election or the American people.

Some fool stated that antifa does not have any leaders. We all know that Yahoo and Google are run by the left and are heavy into censorship and don't allow free speech, but even on their sites I found several articles that state that Soros is the money man behind both groups, antifa and BLM and that BLM uses threats like they made to the professional ball players (football, baseball and basket ball) against them and their families and their jobs if they don't cave in to the lies of BLM.

Since anyone associated with the terrorist of the DNC is by such a terrorist you will understand that once you push the people of this country too far we will eliminate you like we have other terrorist groups that want to destroy human rights, civil rights, women rights and kill babies.

But suppose the Communist do win and take us over like they did Venezuela and Cuba. These fools are so stupid that they have no idea what Russia and China and Cuba and North Korea did to the "revoluntaries" and "intellectuals" that brought their kings to power (and yes they all think they are kings and live like it) to power. Either way they won't reach social security. Kind of sad.

It’s time to focus on potential long-term organ damage from covid-19

New cases of covid-19 are declining across the country, so it's tempting to wonder whether the worst of the pandemic is behind us.

Not by a long shot. Even as cases decline, it is possible we could soon be grappling with the burden of prolonged or permanent organ damage among the millions of people who have survived covid-19. There’s still a lot we don’t know about the long-term effects of this disease, but they could cripple not just these “survivors" but also our health-care system and our economy, too.

The latest research suggests that this novel coronavirus does widespread damage to blood vessels far beyond the lungs — and is thus far more dangerous than previously thought.

One of us, William Li, recently co-authored a study in the New England Journal of Medicine comparing the lungs of covid-19 patients to those of patients killed by influenza, and to healthy lungs. The coronavirus was found to infect and inflict serious damage to the vascular endothelium — the single layer of cells that line the blood vessels of organs such as our brain, kidneys, heart and lungs. Coronavirus patients also have a much higher likelihood of experiencing clots in these blood vessels.

Just because you survived the initial effects is no reason for a victory lap!
