They dont really. Say they are only using genuine parts... but 5 litres of oil runs to 50 bucks out here too so.

The negative starter wire is broken somewhere, and she's a no go...
I remember having to split a set of jumper cables and run it from the battery to the starter after the same happened on my '72 Nomad wagon. Wire ran to starter from battery and then too firewall and dashboard. Lost all power to car when I encountered a whoop in the road.
