shot a rifle today at targets. metallic, stationary, and well-used. i was on my belly, feet waving in the air, on the bed of a pickup. it was hot and ridiculously sweaty. did i hit anything? dunno, shut my eyes each time i squeezed the trigger

Well if you already sighted it and positioned the gun, and didn't move it out of position when you pulled the trigger, you should be fine whether your eyes are open or not

I would say your prone position needs a bit of work.

i'd say you were right :D and not limited to firing guns....

wasn't expecting to be firing anything and the gun was already set up for someone else who can do this kinda stuff

I feel *firmly* about stairs being the twin sibling of trousers and theyre both
Involved in a dastardly plot to cause harm.

Elle! *tacklehugs*

Living here is like slipping into someone else's coat. It may be warm but it doesn't fit. Living in my birthplace was like wearing a coat that fit - but I was always cold. It is hard to accept that I will never be anchored in one place or the other and will always be hovering without a place to land - but I think I can do that. I will try my hand at being content with being a ghost or a tree without roots or a watch without hands.

And I have haloumi and zucchini so at least I will be a happy (perpetually late) ghost without roots!
