Anything with tomato sauce is gross. When I do curried chicken I use half the amount of diced tomatoes, up the yogurt and the curry spices to cover up the taste of the cooked tomatoes.

Raw tomatoes are yummy. Cooked, bleh!

the perfume of fresh-made rolls is wafting through the house - and i didn't even have to make them with the heat i thought we'd be eating cold, since we were both napping after hours out in the garden doing stuff - but my m.i.l has been a busy bee in the kitchen and a wonderful meal is almost ready. she's a diamond!

No black flies this far south. And won't be any mozzies out for another few weeks at least. Water far too cold for them to hatch and be active. Actually been a cold month of May. Average so far 7C. SW Ontario is about as nasty bug free as a place can get.
