I have never been fishing. I have lived in really great fishing places but wasn't interested as a kid. I think maybe I am not quiet enough
That only applies while in a boat or standing on ice. Bank fishing is different. As long as you don't wear bright unnatural clothing and scamper about you're good. Sitting reading a book under an umbrella is a great way to catch fish.

You don't actually have to catch fish. That is called fish catching. Fishing is just attempting to catch fish. A bad day fishing beats a good day at work. I can carp fish all day, use corn for bait and never have to touch a fish, even if I catch one or a dozen. Nets and long pliers.
I grew up on carp fishing. Being English when my dad found out how many carp were in local rivers and ease of catching them it was a regular thing. Don't remember how many 100lb days I have had.
Apparently Roger Waters had an issue with fishing.

I went up in one a long time ago. I was surprised by the noise. It was much louder than I expected.
I was permitted the opportunity to drive the thing and found it more difficult than I expected. Novice pilots (of all planes) are apparently susceptible to "porpoising" (overcorrecting up and down).

Helos are more difficult to fly than planes.
I remember being in a helo one time when the pilot got lost— guy found his way back home by following an interstate highway.
The last time I was in a helo was flying out to a petroleum production platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
