If I admit to liking anything it'll ruin my persona.

I've built it over ten years! Well, eleven years!

So, I know nothing!

I'm looking forward to steak bites, and other finger food this evening.

There is not a better person in this place, sir.

Therefore I hope you enjoy those steak bites. I hope you enjoy them very much!

Maybe even allow yourself to enjoy one more and think of your good pal Spins who can't find a steak worth buying!

I will!

There should be a place worth having a steak in your area?

There are some old political stomping grounds that have a good steak, but they charge 70-90 dollars for just the steak. Add in some veggies, a cocktail or too, and God forbid a date, and it is easy to drop 200 bucks like it was nothing.

Other places charge less, but they just don't have a good cut of meat, or they trick the shit out of the sauces and flavorings they serve with the steak, or worse, both.

There is one decent place not far from me and a lot, a lot of people swear by it, but I have found the owner to be a prick of the highest degree and his staff to be assholes. However, the chef can actually cook a good steak. They only ask 40 to 50 dollars.

I filled the base of the stove with tea lights and they have been burning for nearly 6 hours. They are going to die out soon but the entire stove is piping hot to the touch and now radiating warmth into my small living room.

It has been a very rough few weeks and I almost threw in the towel. I rely heavily on my tendency towards positivity to get me through this shit - but in their absence I've found I can still accomplish things while on auto-pilot. I just have to make sure I don't run out of gas. Fighting for my health is invigorating and exciting. Fighting people who stand in my way is exhausting and maddening. I can't do both.

That's a lot of cash for a steak.

I generally don't order one out. I normal just cook 'em at home, myself. But on occasion I will let a nice restaurant cook one for me, like Club Paris, downtown.

I don't have a girl being a city boy now. The city is afraid of fines, I guess.

I'll occasionally broil one and that works, but, again, the cut of meats up here is dreadful. I even went to one of those fancy butcher shops in the area (yep, fancy, like blood a'int being spilled in the back" and the butcher told me to not even bother with what he had even though he was selling it at a high price.

Told me it wasn't worth it.

<sighs> God damn East Coast nonsense.

Poutine, in THE STATES!!??? :eek::D

Really?

All the jokers will comment on this but I want genuine cheese curds. Also, thanks you two, Elle and Conager, for noticing I was gone. I killed my phone and had no outside contact for four days till it was replaced.

Damn, this is sad.

What about Costco? They have some pretty good meat on this side of the country.
