The doc told my wife that the shots aren't great. She had bone on bone. The new knees are pretty darn good considering what she had prior to.

That's the kind of pain that can really take your breath away
I started on glucosamine in 2010 and it bought me a few really good years. I had moderate to severe pain and the glucosamine took all of it. It was like having new legs. It would have lasted so much longer if I hadn't been so damned determined to wear out my joints. I stopped taking it last year to see if it was really necessary for me to continue with it - and I had to deal with the painful answer for a couple of months. I'll be taking it for the rest of my life. If there's a chance it'd work for you then I can't highly recommend it. It's only about $25 for a three months supply.

Earlier this week Mrs. E hauled out the game guitars, drums, and copies of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, planning on donating them. We hadn't used them since before the kids were born.
Toss in one blustery, wet, winter morning, and we've formed a band, complete with band name and stylin' musician avatars.
With my wee girl on vocals, the boy on drums, and the wife and I trading fours on the guitars, we rocked out a five song set list, the first gig of our world tour.
