well, now i'm reading other shit that still says it was blanks, but i'm having a hard time with that one. how does a misfired blank kill one person and seriously injure another? i mean, i know the wadding can kill at close range, but how do you get two people unless the gun exploded but how does the gun explode without injuring the person holding it?

also, misfire seems like a poor choice of words, but that's another subject entirely.

eta: to be clear, i'm borrowing the "misfire" wording from a couple different articles.
