fall is in the air.

the match and the burn pile will soon become one.
the good things!

Pre op appt tomorrow. bleh Just reminds me what’s coming. Y’all don’t know how much I dread this.
this your other knee? you might dread it, mz pink, but think how much you've learned from the last one... now you know the best way to keep yourself most comfortable and to get swelling and pain down asap. you got this :rose:

It's Fall Y'all.

Except down there ... Spring I guess?
isn't it wonderful? i just don't function well in the summers here :(

..
Snuggle weather! :cattail:
yes! i won't be spending my nights clinging to the edge of the bed just to keep your hot body as far away as possible so i can sleep cool enough :catroar:

It’s in the 80s and humid.
Happy Fall!
this too will pass. cooler days are 'a comong :rose:

so was pouring last night and this morning before clearing out to sunshine, passing clouds and a brisk cool breeze.

today's been a round of laundry loads–washing, drying, putting away–, deseeding a zillion little sweet peppers, hanging the new curtains when they arrived, coffee

i could use a nap but the laundry's not all dried yet and the last load still will need hanging up. the leaves are falling like rain with the gusty breeze, and the dog is mucho happy the humidity/heat combo is done.

Yeah, it's the right one this time. I struggled so much with the last one.

Coffee is good.

But some mornings; for whatever reason, it's like the consenting blood of a thousand virgin orgasms riding upon the moonbeams of the setting harvest moon and spilling into your mouth.

I miss you, but I have to admit I’m rather glad I didn’t go with you.

What is up with this “no consequence” style of parenting?
I do not get it.
Children don’t need spanking necessarily, but they should understand that if you do things that are not allowed/dangerous/illegal there will be a consequence and it won’t be all fun and games.

When it happens, it's a hard lesson.

I can't find that 'Dad jokes' thread, so, here goes:

Setting: ancient Greece

Scene: guy walks into an ancient Greek tailor shop with clothes that need to be mended.

Tailor (looking at clothes): Ah, you Euripides?

Guy (in response): Yes, Eumenides?

The man from Tesco delivered two pizzas that I didn't order and I didn't tell him. Technically that was theft, but I was feeling a bit down and I thought a pizza would cheer me up. It did and it was yummy.

In other news, Dude is facing life in prison for underpaying a few cents for a single Mountain Dew.

No stuff. Real case. Third strike thing.
