I love murder stories. In saying that, local murder stories in Australia have a much darker tone if we're going by the past. Much, much darker. More sinister and sickly. I can't watch the documentaries. Anita Cobby for instance. Scared the crap out of me.

Ooh I will look that up. Yes, the Aussie murders I've seen on telly are dark. Round here you'd just get stabbed for your chips. Bit boring.

Seems like getting to Australia would be the hardest part of the trip. No way I'm sitting in an airplane for 16 hours, and a boat would take a week or so.

There's a resort there though so getting from the coast to the rock must be routine.

Took me 28 hours. 4 hour stopover in HK.

Looks like I can visit the US from November. Of course, I'm not allowed to take any holiday in November or December. Sigh.

You always have an excuse… ever think about doing the honourable thing?

sometimes, trying to be eco-friendly is a recipe for the exact opposite

so, after clearing out the manure from the truck bed, it needed hosing out. the rain had quit just before i'd started and the sun had decided to shine on my labours, but with shaky legs and spots before my eyes i was still aware of H's admonitions about not needing to turn the tap on full-blast... so i gave it a few turns and left it at that then sat down trying to regain normality.

when he was done, he asked me to turn it off, and so i walked slowly back and reached down, gave the knob a number of turns till it stopped turning.

Luckily H happened to check about an hour later... instead of turning it off (normally it would take quite a few turns if i'd had it on full) i'd actually turned it FULL-ON! lord knows how many gallons i wasted and it wasn't as if the already soaked ground had needed it.

No idea how H is going to compete with several men and one really long hose.

Godspeed, Mr. H.

Photoshop. Bodywork on a 2A wasn't that good straight from the factory.

No idea. It's a photo layer shot in G Earth from around that big red rock thing. Figure it's a real picture of a hulk/bone yard out there in the middle of nowhere, but then again ....
