I write stories. My latest one, part of the Nude Day 2016 contest, was posted today. I'm on other Lit boards as well as the GB and Politics but from time to time I annoy Busybody's latest alt.

You're not kidding. Theyre all rescues and all from pups accept that big dog on the right Gunner, thats actually her sons dog but pretty much hers. Plus she sits for other dogs on the side.

We just put up this dog area fence so they dont ruin the rest of the yard.

little dogs - little poops, big dogs (like both my old cross breed and H's white pyrennean) make BIG poops.

Well.....we want some eggs, so the hens are safe ( they'll slow down a bit next year) Our cockerel is safe because he is a nasty, nasty bird and is good now at taking care of the girls.

Next year I will let them raise some chicks, and doubtless there will be boys in those clutches, and we will eat them, then get rid of current rooster and source a new one for the future. But MORE chickens is NOT what we need this year! If I let a couple go broody it would also temporarily reduce the egg inflow.....but then.....we'd have more and more. .....too few to sell offering reliability to people and too many to keep on top of.

I'd bake for the freezer but that is full to the brim right now too.
