We may have another "beast from the east" this winter.
I looked them up. Mixed reviews, lots of complaints about ridges that rub raw, though that may well just be that the women's boots are lesser quality. They so often are.
Mine are prolly 35 years old. The liners were replaced by polar liners as soon as I bought them. They are not hiking boots, they are keeping your feet warm boots. When you're spitting wood, most parts stay warm but the toes can get chilly.
My current winter about town boots for sloppy days are Merrill light weight hikers with Arctic Grip soles. Mrs t has a similar pair that she wears more than I do.
