Somehow a subscription for O magazine keeps arriving in my snail mail box. I have emailed appropriate places twice but it persists.
I just tried to read and nothing really interested me. I used to read Vogue, and Marie Claire which were interesting, though times only for the pictures and clothes.
Maybe it's that none of the recipes are doable for me, the clothes are uninspired, and any energy and hormone articles i read are usually in medical journals.
Seriously, the clothes are dull. They should have a test like would Oprah wear these outfits? If not, then don't publish them. Oprah dresses fairly well and it is her magazine.

I was all in a huff anyway, perfect time to call the internet provider and give them shit.

Darn you!! I am terrible at "honest but kind." I can do honest. The kind part gets lost in there though.

Is it a date or a friend asking if you want to go to a movie or something? There is a difference. Two male buddies can go to a movie, grab something to eat and then stop at a bar for a couple of beers. But if you want to eat somewhere nice, dress a bit better than you usually do and get some time in on the dance floor, you almost need a female buddy for that.
 
I seriously need to go grocery shopping. The fridge is total desolation and the pantry has a major "raided by scavengers during the zombie apocalypse" look about it: nothing but shit even starving people wouldn't eat. And I don't have the damnedest idea of where that can of hominy came from. The fuck?

I am not always that good esp. if I am very ill, tired, grieving, but I try. When I was younger, my first love would do it for me. ;)

You don't owe them an explanation. There is no logic in who we are interested in dating. It just is.
I successfully avoided having any romantic involvement with musicians for several decades, then wham out of the blue I end up with a guy who was a full time musician and I didn't even notice that until I was in pretty deep.

Anyway, if they ask again, or try to discuss it further.
You say "No, thank you, but I hope we can remain friends."

I ask if it's a date, I say "Do you mean going on a date?" If they say yes, I say no thank you.

I have to be careful about my women friends too.
